A pressure equalization device for a housing has a base body and a closure element with a flow path between them being open in a normal operating state of the pressure equalization device. A flow opening in the flow path is spanned by a membrane. An emergency venting spike projects from the closure element toward the membrane. The pressure equalization device transitions after emergency venting into an emergency operating state in which the closure element gas-tightly closes the base body. A housing with such a pressure equalization device is provided. In a method for pressure equalization with such a pressure equalization device between a housing interior and an environment, gas exchange between interior and environment is performed through the membrane and the flow path between closure element and base body. During emergency venting, the membrane is destroyed by the emergency venting spike. The closure element then closes the base body.

Pressure equalization device, method for pressure equalization and housing

Disclosed is a hermetically closed battery degas venting unit for venting a battery enclosure/pack/housing having rechargeable vehicle batteries. The unit having a housing base equipped with a non-porous rupturable venting film closing over and sealing off the pressure venting opening. The non-porous venting film configured to deflect towards a spike in response to overpressure and to tear or rupture to release overpressure in the battery enclosure/pack/housing.

A degassing unit for an electronics housing has a base body with gas passage opening and is connectable fluid-tightly to a rim of a pressure compensation opening of the electronics housing. A semipermeable membrane for covering the pressure compensation opening enables passage of gaseous media from an environment into the electronics housing interior and vice versa but prevents passage of liquids and solids. A membrane support device, arranged at an interior side of the base body facing the electronics housing interior, engages across the gas passage opening and is positioned at a first distance to the semipermeable membrane. A separation lattice with lattice openings is arranged at the interior side of the base body at a second larger distance to the semipermeable membrane and completely engages across the gas passage opening. A surface area spanned by the separation lattice is larger than a cross section of the gas passage opening.

Degassing unit and electronics housing, in particular battery housing

A unit () for the regulation or control of a fluid pressure, having at least one housing section () and a switching film () connected to the at least one housing section () for switching at pressure differentials relative to an ambient pressure acting on the switching film (), and for the regulation, release or blocking of a flow of the fluid between an inlet () and a discharge () for the fluid. The switching film () is made out of a polymer material having fluorine and carbon. In this arrangement, a hole cross-section () of the at least one housing section () is closed off by the switching film (). A method of forming a fluid-tight connection is also disclosed.

Unit for the regulation or control of a fluid pressure

Disclosed is a method and a unit () for the regulation or control of a fluid pressure, having at least one housing section () and a switching film () connected to the at least one housing section () for switching at pressure differentials of 1 to 250 mbar, preferably from 1 to 100 mbar, relative to an ambient pressure acting on the switching film (), and for the regulation, release or blocking of a flow of the fluid between an inlet () and a discharge () for the fluid. The switching film () is made out of a polymer material having fluorine and carbon. In this arrangement, a hole cross-section () of the at least one housing section () is closed off by the switching film ().

A connector assembly is disclosed for making a connection between a tubular adapter component and a port connector which, once connected to each other, are not able to be disassembled. At least one of the tubular adapter component or the port component may have at least one cutout section and the other may have a projecting tab. A tubular sleeve is positioned on the port component and is non-rotatable and non-removable from the port component. The tubular sleeve has at least one flexible cam locking post. When the adapter component is slidably engaged with the port component the cutout section and the projecting tab engage to prevent sliding withdrawal of the adapter component from the port component. The flexible cam locking post also engages with the cutout section and prevents the adapter component from rotating.

Tamper-resistant connector arrangement

An oil mist separator for separating aerosol oil from an oil-laden gas has an impactor. The impactor has a nozzle device with at least one nozzle for gas to be freed from oil, wherein the at least one nozzle has a streaming region. The impactor further has at least one deflector body having a separating region for the oil, wherein the separating region is positioned in the streaming region of the at least one nozzle. The separating region has a surface structure that is monolithically formed with the at least one deflector body. The surface structure has elevations and recesses arranged alternatingly in all directions transversely to a main streaming direction of the at least one nozzle.

A filter device has a filter housing of connected housing parts with an inlet for unfiltered fluid and an outlet for filtered fluid. A filter element arranged in the filter housing separates the inlet seal-tightly from the outlet. A releasable anchoring device connects the housing parts. The anchoring device has a rotary insert having a guide and anchoring section and an interacting receptacle with an insertion/removal section. The rotary insert of the first housing part is arranged in the receptacle of the second housing part. The guide and anchoring section has a first rotary state in which it is positively guided for gliding in the insertion/removal section to guide the housing parts when being connected or separated. In a second rotary state the guiding and anchoring section is secured in an anchoring section of the receptacle for securing the housing parts. The insertion/removal section passes into the anchoring section.

Filter device for filtration of a fluid

A casting tool for an air intake duct includes a mold and exchangeable extractable cores for the formation of a cavity. The exchangeable extractable cores are provided for the mold, by which, while retaining the mold as such, different air intake duct geometries, especially different air intake channel cross sections, can be produced. In this manner a plurality of intake duct variants can be produced at substantially constant tool costs. This permits the economical use of injection molded synthetic resin air intake ducts, since the very expensive casting tools can be provided for a sufficient number of air intake ducts.
