A glass holder for glasses having a narrow neck and a wider base has a vertically movable stand element formed so that a base of a glass is placeable on the stand element, at least two movable holding-down devices which are spaced from one another and in a holding position engage over the base of a glass standing on the stand element, and in a removal position are moved outwards, and a locking mechanism which, when the stand element has been moved downwards locks the holding-down devices against movement from the holding position into the removal position.

A holder ( ) for a beverage container, which is provided in the construction of a motor vehicle, is formed with two extensions ( ), which are displaceable from a base position in a housing ( ) into a use position extended away from the housing ( ). One of the two extensions ( ) has a champagne glass holder ( ), on which a champagne glass is held in a stabile manner with its foot by means of downwardly pivoting holding-down devices ( ).

Holder for a beverage container

A closure device for a closure flap, has an actuating element which is remote from the closure flap. A connecting rod is articulated pivotably on the closure flap and the actuating element to transmit tensile and compressive forces. The connecting rod is assigned to a position element, which is stationary with respect to the mounting of the closure flap, and is provided, at least in the region of the position element, with at least one spring element which acts transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of said connecting rod. This spring element allows the connecting rod to be moved, by way of contact with the position element, into defined longitudinal positions with associated positions of the closure flap and actuating element. The connecting rod is preferably a spring wire incorporating a shaped spring element.

An armrest for vehicles has a basic body constructed with an upwardly open receiving compartment and a closing flap which covers the receiving compartment. The closing flap is swivellably held on the basic body and has an arm supporting padding and a depositing compartment. For making the depositing tray accessible from the rear seat of the vehicle between the backrests of the two front seats, with a low-cost manufacture and an attractive appearance of the armrest, the arm padding support is provided with a central opening. A sliding blind which covers the depositing tray is longitudinally slidably guided in the closing flap.

A device for holding two drink containers which can be arranged in the compartment of a central console of a motor vehicle has a holding ring for lateral fixing of the one drink container and a holding frame for the second drink container which are moved out of a position in which they are recessed in the compartment. The folded-together holding ring, together with the holding frame, assume a position projecting from the compartment. From that position, the folded-together holding ring moves into its opened-out holding position beside and above the holding frame. Movement from the recessed position can be effected automatically.

A center console for motor vehicles includes storage compartment, a base body open in the upward direction and adapted to be covered by a pivotally connected cover member. An armrest is longitudinally displaceably supported on this cover member and can be transferred from a rearward pushed back position, located between the front vehicle seats, into a forward armrest position toward the instrument panel.
