A solenoid arrangement comprises a pole tube which is axially subdivided into a pole core section, a transition section, and a tube section. A magnetic flux between the pole core section and the tube section is interrupted by the transition section. An armature is movably guided in the pole tube and has, at its end facing the pole core section, a flange which axially projects from an end face. According to the invention, the pole core section has a stepped depression into which the armature can plunge and which, starting from the transition section, is subdivided into an annular collar, a shoulder, and a notch which is set back axially and radially. An axial dimension of the collar exceeds an axial dimension of the flange.

Solenoid arrangement and valve arrangement

The invention relates to a solenoid wherein a magnetic discontinuity is formed in the pole tube reducing the effective material thickness, such as by reducing the thickness, particularly the wall thickness of the magnetically active material, the front face of the armature facing the pole core and a bottom face in the interior of the pole tube at the pole core each have a contour allowing mutual axial overlapping. This enables advantageous influencing of the force-stroke characteristic curve of the solenoid with low production effort.

A pole tube of a solenoid actuator including a non-magnetic intermediate piece having a first intermediate end face and a second intermediate end face, a pole piece having a pole end face configured to join the first intermediate end face at a first joining region, and a tube piece having a tube end face configured to join the second intermediate end face at a second joining region. At least two of the intermediate piece, the pole piece and the tube piece are configured to be connectable to each other using electric fusion. At least two of the intermediate piece, the pole piece and the tube piece have a different conductivity. A respective part of the pole and tube pieces disposed in corresponding first and second joining regions are configured to each have an electrical resistance substantially equal to an electrical resistance of a part of the intermediate piece.

Pole tube

The invention relates to a structurally simple and hence economical fuel filter, in particular a diesel filter, having at least one fuel inlet, at least one fuel outlet, water separator means, at least one sump, a water outlet associated with the sump, and control means for the water outlet, in which the water to be drained out is cleaned by means for separating out contaminants, so that this water can be given off to the environment.

The fuel injection apparatus has one fuel pump for each cylinder, which has a pump piston, driven by the engine, that defines a pump work chamber, which communicates via a line with a fuel injection valve, disposed on the engine separately from the fuel pump, which valve has an injection valve member, by which at least one injection opening is controlled, and which is movable in the opening direction, counter to a closing force, by the pressure generated in the pump work chamber; a first electrically triggered control valve controls a communication of the line with a relief chamber. A second electrically triggered control valve is also disposed on the fuel injection valve and controls the pressure prevailing in a control pressure chamber of the fuel injection valve, which pressure urges the injection valve member in the closing direction.

Fuel injection system for internal combustion engines

The fuel injection apparatus has one fuel pump for each cylinder of the engine, which pump has a pump piston, driven by the engine in a reciprocating motion, that defines a pump work chamber, which communicates via a line with a fuel injection valve, disposed on the engine separately from the fuel pump, which valve has an injection valve member, by which at least one injection opening is controlled, and which is movable in the opening direction, counter to a closing force, by the pressure generated in the pump work chamber, and at least one first electrically triggered control valve is provided, by which a communication of the pump work chamber with a relief chamber is controlled, and which is disposed near the fuel pump. A second electrically triggered control valve is provided, which is disposed near the fuel injection valve and by which the pressure prevailing in a control pressure chamber of the fuel injection valve is controlled, by which pressure the injection valve member is urged at least indirectly in the closing direction.

Fuel injection apparatus for internal combustion engines

The fuel injection apparatus for internal combustion engines has one fuel pump for each cylinder of the engine, which pump has a pump piston, driven by the engine in a reciprocating motion, that defines a pump work chamber to which fuel is delivered from a fuel tank and which communicates with a fuel injection valve that has an injection valve member by which at least one injection opening is controlled and which is movable in an opening direction counter to a closing force by the pressure generated in the pump work chamber, by means of a first electrically controlled control valve, a communication of the pump work chamber with a diversion chamber is controlled, and by means of a second electrically controlled control valve, the pressure prevailing in a control pressure chamber of the fuel injection valve is controlled, by which the injection valve member is urged at least indirectly in the closing direction. The diversion chamber is a pressure reservoir, in which an elevated pressure, compared to the pressure prevailing in the fuel tank, is maintained.
