The invention relates to a pump arrangement () with at least one temperature-controllable housing part, wherein at least one temperature-controllable housing part () comprises a first wall () that is in contact with the temperature-controllable medium and a second wall () that is at a distance from the first wall (). The first wall () and the second wall () form a temperature control chamber ().

A split can for a magnetic coupling includes a cylindrical jacket region and a base region connected to a first end of the jacket region. The jacket region has an inner wall and an outer wall enclosing the inner wall. The inner wall and the outer wall are spaced apart from each other in the radial direction by a gap, with the inner wall being integrally joined to the outer wall by a plurality of webs. The gap may be provided with a control medium which may be monitored to detect changes in one or more characteristics of the control medium indicative of split can leakage.

A pump arrangement including a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, the pump arrangement including an inner chamber formed by a housing arrangement, a separating can which hermetically seals a chamber enclosed by it with respect to the inner chamber, an impeller shaft that can be driven in rotation about an axis of rotation, an impeller arranged on one end of the impeller shaft, an inner rotor arranged on the other end of the impeller shaft, a drive device, a drive shaft that can be driven in rotation about the axis of rotation by the drive device, and an outer rotor arranged on the drive shaft and cooperating with the inner rotor. The outer rotor includes a first carrier element and a second carrier element connected to the first carrier element. The first carrier element includes a thermal barrier device.

A magnetic clutch pump arrangement is provided. The pump arrangement includes a pump housing containing an impeller shaft, a containment shell sealing an enclosed chamber within the housing, an impeller mounted on the impeller shaft, an inner rotor mounted on the other end of the impeller shaft, a drive motor, a drive shaft drivable by the drive motor, and an outer rotor outside of the enclosed chamber, mounted on the drive shaft, which magnetically interacts with the inner rotor. The external rotor has a hub with a through-bore having an interior surface which includes an axial groove extending parallel to the axis of rotation which cooperates with a feather key and a drive shaft key groove to rotationally secure the hub to the drive shaft. At least one radially circumferential first groove and at least one radially circumferential second groove in the hub interior surface receive tolerance rings.

A pump arrangement, in particular a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, includes a pump housing containing an impeller shaft, a containment shell which seals an enclosed chamber within the inner chamber of the pump housing, an impeller mounted on one end of the impeller shaft, an inner rotor mounted on the other end of the impeller shaft, an outer rotor which is mounted on the drive shaft and co-operates with the inner rotor, and an auxiliary impeller mounted in the chamber adjacent to a domed base of the containment can. The auxiliary impeller is secured to the inner rotor and includes vanes and impeller channels for circulation of media.
