Surfactant systems and compositions incorporating the same are disclosed for use as rinse aids on plastics and other wares. The surfactant systems and compositions include both liquid and solid formulations, along with methods of use for treating plastics and other wares. The surfactant systems and compositions provide synergistic combinations allowing lower actives in composition formulations of the plastic-compatible surfactant systems providing good sheeting, wetting and drying properties.

Efficient surfactant system on plastic and all types of ware

The present disclosure is related to a surfactant comprising at least one C8 to C30 branched alkanol alkoxylate, a process for the preparation of the surfactant, an article comprising the surfactant, and a use of the surfactant. Also disclosed are readily biodegradable surfactants obtained from branched aliphatic alcohols and including a polyethylene oxide block.

Biodegradable surfactant

A liquid laundry composition comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants; and (ii) a non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10; wherein the total amount of anionic surfactant in the composition is in the range of 3 to 18 wt % of the total composition and the weight ratio of the total amount of anionic surfactant to the non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant is in the range of 6:1 to 60:1. Use of a liquid laundry detergent composition including said non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant for laundering textiles wherein effective foam is maintained during a main wash step and an easy rinse of the textiles is provided during a rinse step.

The current invention is directed towards mixtures, comprising (A) in the range of from 15 to 85% by weight of at least one compound of the general formula (I) (B) in the range of from 85 to 15% by weight of at least one compound of the general formula (II), wherein the integers are defined as follows: Ris C-C-alkyl, linear or branched, Ris C-C-alkyl, linear or branched, G, Gare different or identical and selected from monosaccharides with 4 to 6 carbon atoms, x, y are numbers in the range of from 1.1 to 4, Ris C-C-alkyl, linear or branched, the percentages referring to the total mixture.

The current invention is directed towards mixtures of compounds, comprising (A) in the range of from 93 to 97% by weight compound of general formula (I) (B) in the range of from 3 to 6.5% by weight compound of general formula (II) (C) in the range of from 0.2 to 0.5% by weight compound of general formula (III) wherein the integers are defined as follows: Ris &#x2014;(CH)CH, Ris &#x2014;(CH)CH, Ris &#x2014;(CH)CH(CH), Ris &#x2014;(CH)CH(CH)Gselected from monosaccharides with 4 to 6 carbon atoms, x in the range of from 1.1 to 10, n is a number in the range of from 1 to 4.
