A bearing bush includes at least one sealing element and one bearing element. The sealing element is provided with at least one sealing lip. The bearing element is substantially tubular. The bearing element includes a plurality of protrusions extending in the axial direction on the outer circumference. The inner diameter of the bearing element is larger in the sections corresponding to the protrusions than in the remaining sections.

A seal includes: a seal ring, having at least one dynamically stressed seal lip; a supporting ring made of a toughened material; and a connecting device made of an elastomeric material. The seal ring and the supporting ring are connected to one another. The supporting ring includes a radial leg, to which, in a radial direction, the seal lip is fixed. The radial leg is formed of two parts and, in the radial direction, has arranged a first partial leg and, in an other radial direction has arranged a second partial leg. The partial legs are associated adjacent with a first radial distance and delineate a first gap. The first partial leg is connected with the seal lip. The first and the second partial legs are fixed to one another by the connecting device. The connecting device, when viewed in cross section, has an axial length and a radial height.

In an embodiment, the present invention provides a sealing arrangement for sealing two chambers that are adjacent to one another in an axial direction and are to be sealed with respect to one another, including: a first machine element; a second machine element, the second machine element surrounding the first machine element with a radial spacing therebetween, the sealing ring being arranged in the gap formed by the radial spacing; and a sealing ring, the sealing ring including at least one dynamically loaded first sealing lip, which sealingly surrounds a surface to be sealed of the first machine element, the sealing ring being arranged in an installation chamber of the second machine element and the sealing ring comprising a first and a second end face, the first end face axially facing the first chamber to be sealed and the second end face axially facing the second chamber to be sealed.

Sealing arrangement and use thereof

A rod guide, comprising a guide bush, which is surrounded on the outside by a carrier with respect to which there is a radial clearance. A connector is provided in the gap formed by the clearance, which form locks with the guide bush, thereby preventing translatory motion between them.

Rod guide and method for its manufacture

A piston assembly that is movable back and forth parallel to its axis in a cylindrical housing, comprising a piston-like support part made of a hard material and a guide ring made of a polymer. The guide ring surrounds the support part along a portion of the axial length of the piston. The support part and the guide ring are joined to each other via frictional and/or form locking provided by mating between grooves on the support part and a corresponding number of radial projections on the guide ring. A set of axially spaced apart sealing lips, integrally molded with the guide ring, extends axially beyond the grooves to provide a seal with respect to the cylinder wall.
