A protection system for portable electronic devices may include a first impact absorbing panel, a second impact absorbing panel, and multiple spacers adapted to hold the panels apart to accommodate the thickness of a portable electronic device inserted between the panels. The system may include a first rigid shell having multiple attachment slots around its periphery, a first impact absorbing material on the inner side of the first shell, a second rigid shell having multiple attachment slots around its periphery, a second impact absorbing material on the inner side of the second shell, multiple spacers adapted to attach to the shells at the attachment slots. The spacers hold the panels apart with their inner sides facing each other to form a protected space for the portable electronic devices between the shells and spacers.

Protection systems for portable devices

A protection system for portable electronic devices may include a first impact absorbing panel, a second impact absorbing panel, and multiple spacers adapted to hold the panels apart to accommodate the thickness of a portable electronic device inserted between the panels. The system may include a first rigid shell having multiple attachment slots around its periphery, a first impact absorbing material on the inner side of the first shell, a second rigid shell having multiple attachment slots around its periphery, a second impact absorbing material on the inner side of the second shell, multiple spacers adapted to attach to the shells at the attachment slots, wherein the spacers hold the panels apart with their inner sides facing each other, thereby forming a protected space for the portable electronic devices between the shells and spacers.

Protective case

An illumination device generally has at least one light source and an attachment assembly that connects the light source to a computing device. The light source may be one or more LEDs or a light panel using electroluminescent lighting. The illumination device includes a power source coupled to the light source and a light control mechanism to change at least one of an operative state or an intensity of the light source. The illumination device may also be integrally connected to the computing device. A light cover is implemented to cover the light source and diffuse light emanating therefrom.

Illumination device

An electrical transformer system using helical electrodes applied to a plasma. Systems and methods transform DC voltages and currents to different DC voltages and currents. Instead of using wires and iron cores similar to known transformers, the present DC to DC transformer system exploits plasma, helical electrodes, an axial magnetic field and radial magnetic field coils, with a control system to specify a radial magnetic field at the edge of a specified magnitude. A DC input voltage is applied, and an output is taken from electrodes at opposite the ends of the central apparatus. The system and apparatus contains a radial magnetic field embedded in the helical electrodes; the secondary current is taken from either solid or split (slotted) electrodes. Methods are disclosed for changing the output voltage and current relative to the input values. The system can function as either a stepup or a stepdown transformer.

DC to DC electrical transformer

An apparatus and corresponding systems and methods for managing electric power, particularly a transformer system and method, and more specifically a transformer for direct current. An example apparatus includes a chamber configured to contain plasma. The apparatus includes input electrodes disposed at least partially within the chamber, and configured to receive a first direct current input into the chamber. The input electrodes are configured to cause the input direct current to induce motion in the plasma. Motion induced in the plasma transforms current flowing there-through. At output electrodes extend from the chamber. The output electrodes conduct a second direct current, from the induced motion in the plasma, for delivery from the chamber.

DC-DC electrical transformer

An apparatus and corresponding systems and methods for managing electric power, particularly a transformer system and method, and more specifically a transformer for transforming direct current to alternating current. An example apparatus includes a chamber configured to contain plasma. The apparatus includes input electrodes disposed at least partially within the chamber, and configured to receive direct current input into the chamber. The input electrodes are configured to cause the input direct current to induce motion in the plasma. Motion induced in the plasma transforms current flowing there-through. Output electrodes extend from the chamber, which output electrodes may rotated in a controlled manner. The output electrodes conduct a three or one phase alternating current, from the induced motion in the plasma, for delivery from the chamber.

In some instances, a light cover is implemented to cover the light sources and diffuse light emanating therefrom.

The current invention discloses an illumination device that may be attached to a computing device and provide a light source for a video call, video conference, or a picture capturing process. The illumination device comprises a light source, a power connector, and an attachment assembly that connects that light source to the computing device. The light source maybe a plurality of LEDs or a light panel using electroluminescent lighting. The illumination device may further comprise an external power source and a switch. The illumination device may also be integrally connected to the computing device and uses the power source of the computing device and being controlled by buttons or switches of the computing device. The illumination device may also provide additional signals for incoming calls or ongoing calls by displaying different light intensity, pattern, or color.

A machine-controlled method may include creating a tile profile including multiple tiles, visually presenting the tile profile using a display, and storing the tile profile. The method may further include adding, removing, and editing the tiles and utilizing tile stacks. The method may further include any of a number of tile scrolling mechanisms.

A protection device for the outside of a vehicle is described. An impact absorbing structure is placed on the outside of a vehicle and is anchored to the vehicle using a strap. The strap is secured between the doorframe and the roof of the vehicle and allows the impact absorbing structure to hang horizontally along the outside of the vehicle. Any object that would otherwise impact and damage the vehicle, such as the door of a neighboring car in a parking lot, is intercepted by the protection device.
