A vehicle lamp that incorporates means for protection against electrostatic discharges. Sn an embodiment, the vehicle Samp includes a metalized part that is made from synthetic polymer and that is metalized at least on one side of it. The vehicle lamp further includes a metalized retaining clip integral with the metalized part, and a grounding cable electrically connecting the metalized part to the ground via the metalized retaining clip. A first end of the grounding cable is fixed to a locking end of the metalized retaining clip and a second end of the grounding cable is connected to the ground to ensure a proper connection between the metalized part and the ground.

Vehicle lamp incorporating means for protection against electrostatic discharges

The invention relates to an electronic assembly for an automotive lighting device. The inventive electronic assembly comprises a first group of light source connections and at least one jumper where each jumper is arranged to bypass a first spare light source connection belonging to the first group of light source connections by putting its first and second terminals in electrical contact. Hence when in operation, the first spare light source connection does not receive any light source. The first group of light source connections are intended to receive light sources which are used for the same lighting function. The invention also relates to a lighting device that includes such an electronic assembly with a method that includes manufacturing such a lighting device.

Device for controlling at least a first light source of a motor vehicle, the motor vehicle at least comprising the first light source being configured to provide a first light function and a second light source configured to provide a second light function, the device comprising: electrical means configured to detect activation of the second light source, and to deactivate the first light source after detection of activation of the second light source. Also, method for controlling at least a first light source of a motor vehicle, the motor vehicle comprising the first light source being configured to provide a first light function and a second light source configured to provide a second light function, the method comprising: electrically detecting activation of the second light source; and electrically deactivating the first light source after detecting activation of the second light source.

Device and method for controlling light sources in motor vehicles

A device controls at least a first light source of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle includes at least the first light source to provide a first light function and a second light source to provide a second light function. The device includes an electrical structure to detect activation of the second light source, and to deactivate the first light source after detection of activation of the second light source. Also, a method controls at least a first light source of the motor vehicle. The method includes electrically detecting activation of the second light source and electrically deactivating the first light source after detecting activation of the second light source.

The invention proposes to gather bin information identifying semiconductor-component light sources in a luminous module for a motor vehicle by way of a single electronic circuit in which the light sources and the bin information relating thereto are implemented. The invention allows the cabling between a supply device and a printed circuit board containing the electronic circuit according to the invention to be decreased since the bin information required for the configuration of the supply device is gathered actively over the supply line of the light sources.
