Provided are amonoterpene synthase BbTPS3 and related biological materials thereof and use thereof. BbTPS3 is: A1) a protein having the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 2; A2) a fusion protein obtained by linking protein-tags at the N-terminus or/and the C-terminus of the protein shown in SEQ ID NO: 2; and A3) a protein having at least 90% identity and the same function as the protein shown in A1), which is obtained by performing substitution and/or deletion and/or addition of one or more amino acid residues on the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 2. BbTPS3 can catalyze GPP to form l-borneol, and can be used to regulate and produce plant monoterpene compounds and cultivate(L.) DC.

Provided is a recombinant yeast expressing germacrene A synthetase or a fusion protein thereof, wherein the fusion protein is germacrene A synthetase and farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase. The recombinant yeast improves the yield of germacrene A, and is suitable for the industrialized production of β-elemene and/or germacrene A.

A method for capturing ancient DNA of a wooden cultural relic, sequentially includes the following steps: sampling, removing exogenous DNA contamination on the inner part and the outer surface of a sample, and effectively obtaining the ancient DNA of the wooden cultural relic through vacuum freeze-drying dehydration, sample grinding, rinsing, cell lysis, DNA genome enrichment and hybridization and capturing. The method focuses on precise capture of the ancient DNA of the wood cells of the wood cultural relic, not only breaks through the problem that effective acquisition of the DNA of the wood cultural relic is difficult to realize by a conventional wood DNA extraction method, but also provides possibility for analysis and utilization of the ancient DNA with typical characteristics of serious exogenous contamination, low DNA content, high degradation, extensive damage and the like.

Provided is a recombinant yeast expressing germacrene A synthetase or a fusion protein thereof, wherein the fusion protein is germacrene A synthetase and farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase. The recombinant yeast improves the yield of germacrene A, and is suitable for the industrialized production of &#x3b2;-elemene and/or germacrene A.
