A display device having a display panel including first to third regions. The second region and the third region are respectively connected to opposite sides of the first region. The third region is bendable. A flexible circuit board is connected to an end of the third region. A first protection layer overlaps the first region to third regions. A second protection layer overlaps at least a portion of the third region. A support member overlaps the first protection layer. The support member includes a plurality of openings. The first protection layer includes a first groove overlapping at least a portion of the second region and a second groove overlapping at least a portion of the third region. Each of the first groove and the second groove overlaps the support member.

A slidable display device includes: a display panel; and a support member supporting the display panel. The support member includes a first portion maintaining a form and a second portion adjacent to the first portion and being transformable, the second portion includes a plurality of bars, and each of the plurality of bars includes an edge side including a first side, a second side connected to the first side and being inclined from the first side, a third side including two sides forming a step, a fourth side connecting between the two sides of the third side, a fifth side including two sides facing the third side and forming a step, and a sixth side connecting between the two sides of the fifth side.

Slidable display device

A display device including a display panel including a substrate, pixels provided on the substrate, and first lines connected to the pixels, the display device having a bending area where the display panel is bent. The display panel also includes a chip on film overlapping with a portion of the display panel and having second lines, an anisotropic conductive film provided between the chip on film and the display panel connecting the first lines and the second lines, and a coating layer covering the bending area and one end of the chip on film. In such a device, lines of the chip on film may be prevented from being corroded as they may be spaced apart from an edge of an insulating film.

Bendable display device

A display device includes a display panel including a substrate, pixels provided on the substrate, and first lines connected to the pixels, the display device having a bending area where the display panel is bent. The display panel also includes a chip on film overlapping with a portion of the display panel and having second lines, an anisotropic conductive film provided between the chip on film and the display panel connecting the first lines and the second lines, and a coating layer covering the bending area and one end of the chip on film. In such a device, lines of the chip on film may be prevented from being corroded as they may be spaced apart from an edge of an insulating film.

A organic light emitting diode display including an organic light emitting display panel displaying an image, and a lower passivation film attached to a bottom of the organic light emitting panel and including a polymer resin and an antistatic agent, wherein the lower passivation film includes a plurality of stress adjustment patterns disposed to be adjacent to each other wherein decreasing the bending interval between the bending stress adjustment patterns formed at the lower passivation film processed with the antistatic agent and attached at the position corresponding to the bending portion of the organic light emitting panel, thereby selectively minimizes the stress of the bending portion of the organic light emitting panel, therefore, asymmetry of strains of the bending portions of the organic light emitting display panel can be prevented to remove a picture abnormality, and static electricity may be prevented.
