A cable management apparatus includes two mounting brackets, a cable management arm connected between the two mounting brackets and slidable vertically, and two elevating mechanisms. Each of the elevating mechanisms includes opposite sides respectively rotatably connected to one of the mounting brackets and abutting a bottom of the cable management arm. When the elevating mechanisms are rotated relative to the mounting brackets, the elevating mechanisms drive the cable management arm to slide vertically. The cable management arm defines a number of positioning holes. Each of the elevating mechanisms includes a locating pin to be operable to engage in one of the corresponding positioning holes to prevent the rotation of the elevating mechanisms.

Cable management apparatus

A cable management apparatus for managing a cable includes a mounting bracket slidably receiving the cable and fixing a rear end of the cable, a sliding bar slidably connected to the front end of the cable, and a rotating arm rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket and engaging with the cable. The sliding bar defines a guiding slot, which includes a driving portion extending slantingly relative to a sliding direction of the sliding bar. The rotating arm includes a rod slidably received in the guiding slot of the sliding bar. By sliding the sliding bar forward or rearward, the rod of the rotating arm slides along the driving portion of the guiding slot to rotate the rotating arm forward to stretch the cable or rotate the rotating arm rearward to wind up the cable.

Cable management apparatus and cable module

A cable management device includes a shell, a driving assembly and a cover. The shell includes a first coil winder and a second coil winder. The driving assembly is slidably fixed to the shell, the driving assembly including a sliding rack and a rotating rack. The cover is releasably latched to the shell. The cable assembly includes a first end, a second end and a coil section. The first end is fixed to the driving assembly, the second end is fixed to the shell. The coil section is wound onto the first coil winder and the second coil winder. When the driving assembly is slid out of the shell, the driving assembly stretches the coil section, and the rotating rack rotates relative to the sliding rack, bending the cable assembly.

Cable management device and server using same

A locking mechanism is used to prevent a connector coupled to an device from accidently disengaging from the device. A cable extends from the connector. The locking mechanism includes a supporting bracket fixed to the device, and a locking member mounted to the supporting bracket and slidable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The supporting bracket defines a retaining hole. The locking member includes a protrusion and a block. When the locking member slides to the locking position, the block abuts against the connector. The protrusion is engaged in the retaining hole to keep the locking member at the locking position. When the locking member slides to the unlocking position, the block is spaced from the connector to provide an operation space for removing the connector from the device.

Locking mechanism for connector

An exemplary enclosure includes a housing, a box slidably inserted into the housing, and a pair of handles pivotably attached on the box. The housing includes ports and the box includes plugs which can be inserted into the ports, respectively. The handle includes a main body pivotably attached to the box and an operating member slidably connected to the main body. The handle can be rotated around the box to engage with a locking post of the housing to drive the plugs to be inserted into the ports. The operating member can be pulled from the main body to increase a total length of the handle. The operating member can also be pushed into the main body to reduce the total length of the handle.

A locking mechanism is used to lock a connector to an information handling device. The locking mechanism includes a supporting bracket, a locking member, and an attachment member sleeved on a cable extending from the connector and slidably coupled to the supporting bracket. The supporting bracket is cantilevered from the information handling device. The locking member is rotatably mounted to the supporting bracket, adjacent to a distal end of the supporting bracket. The locking member engages with the attachment member by rotating the locking member in a first direction, thereby locking the connector to the information handling device. The locking member disengages from the holding member by rotating the locking member in a second direction opposite to the first direction, thereby the attachment member is capable of moving away from the information handling device to release the connector from the information handling device.

A supporting device includes a loading device and a locking device. The loading device has a sidewall defining a curved first sliding slot, a second sliding slot and a fixing hole. The locking device is positioned on the sidewall, and includes a connecting pole, a swing pole, a buckle, a first and a second bolts, and a shaft. The connecting pole is positioned on an outer surface of the sidewall and defines a third sliding slot. The swing pole is attached on an inner surface of the sidewall and defines a first and a second through holes. The buckle is attached on the swing pole and defines a third through hole. The first bolt extends through the first and third through holes, and the first and third sliding slots. The second bolt extends through the second sliding slot. The shaft extends through the second through hole and the fixing hole.

A mounting device includes a clamping device, a spacing device, and a receiving device. The clamping device includes an upper clamping element and a lower clamping element. The upper clamping element includes a first side plate and an upper clamping plate, the first side plate defines a guiding element and a number of position holes thereon thereon. The lower clamping element includes a second side plate received in the guiding element and a lower clamping plate opposite to the upper clamping plate. The second side plate defines a spacing hole therethrough. The spacing device is positioned on the first side plate and extends outward a position pole, the poison pole penetrates the position hole and receives in the spacing hole for fixing the lower clamping element. The receiving device is rotatably connected with the first side plate and defines a receiving room.

A connector assembly includes a connector and an assisting apparatus for plugging or unplugging the connector. The connector includes a connecting portion having a resilient tab. The assisting apparatus includes a hollow first rotatable member, and a second rotatable member received in the first rotatable member. The middle of opposite sides of the second rotatable member are pivotably connected to opposite sides of the first rotatable member. The connecting portion is arranged between front sections of the first and second rotatable members, with a front end of the connecting portion exposed out of the first and second rotatable members. When a rear end of the second rotatable member is rotated towards the first rotatable member, the front section of the second rotatable member is rotated towards the first rotatable member and deforms the resilient tab.

Connector assembly having an apparatus with two rotatable members pivotally connected for plugging or unplugging a connector

A mounting apparatus for a data storage device includes a bracket, a support member slidably mounted to the bracket, two first and second locking members, and two clamping members. Each first locking member includes a first hook detachably locked to the support member, and a fixing pole to clamp the corresponding clamping member. Each second locking member includes a second hook fixed to the support member, and a fixing portion to fix the corresponding clamping member. When the first hooks of the first locking members disengage from the support member, and the first locking members are rotated to drive the corresponding clamping members away from the support member. When the data storage device is sandwiched between the support member and the clamping members, the first locking members are rotated to make the first hooks lock to the support member.
