Optical lens () for a LED comprising a lens body () having: &#x2014;a light-entering section (), where light from the LED enters the lens (), having a cross-sectional dimension (D) and recessed to accommodate a LED; &#x2014;a light-emitting front face (); &#x2014;a frusto-conical shape (), extending along a central axis between the light-entering section () and the light-emitting front face (), the outer surface of which incorporating a plurality of densely-distributed convex facets (); &#x2014;a height (H) along said central axis; &#x2014;a cross-sectional width (D) at the level of the light-emitting front face (). This optical lens enhances light utilization efficiency, avoids creating spots with chromatic aberration hence greatly improves color rendering.

LED-integrated lens comprising a light-entering section () in the shape of a hole, a light-emitting section () in the shape of a cup, incorporating an optical lens () positioned between said light-entering and light-emitting sections () wherein the external surfaces of the light-entering () and of the light-emitting () sections include portions having densely-distributed convex facets. This lens enhances light utilization efficiency, avoids creating spots with color aberration hence greatly improves color rendering.
