Grain-oriented electrical steel sheet and manufacturing method therefor

A method for refining a magnetic domain of a grain-oriented electrical steel strip is provided, including a steel strip supporting roll position adjusting step of controlling a position of the steel strip in a vertical direction while supporting the steel strip proceeding along a production line, a laser irradiating step of forming a groove on a surface of the steel strip by irradiating a laser beam onto the surface of the steel strip to melt the steel strip, and a detecting step of detecting a defect in the groove formed on the surface of the steel strip while the steel strip proceeds, so as to be able to detect whether the groove is defective by confirming a machining state of a magnetic domain refined groove formed on the surface of the steel strip in a working process.

Method for refining magnetic domain of grain-oriented electrical steel plate and device therefor

A magnetostrictive transducer that generates a large shear horizontal (SH) wave useful for non-destructive testing of a plate member, and method and apparatus for structural health monitoring by using the magnetostrictive transducer. The magnetostrictive transducer includes: a magnetostrictive patch array comprising a plurality of magnetostrictive patches that have different radii of curvature, and have the same center of curvature when arranged on a plate member and form an overall fan-shape; a static magnetic field forming unit comprising two magnets that are respectively installed on both sides of the magnetostrictive patch so that a magnetic field is formed in parallel to an arc direction of the magnetostrictive patch; and a dynamic magnetic field forming unit comprising a wound coil comprising a plurality of curved portions.

Magnetostrictive transducer and apparatus and method for monitoring structural health using the same

Disclosed is a magnetostrictive transducer for generating and receiving elastic waves in a testing plate and an apparatus for structural diagnosis using the magnetostrictive transducers. More particularly, disclosed is a magnetostrictive transducer which may generate and transmit elastic waves using the magnetostrictive effect in any directions without re-attaching ferromagnetic patch on the non-magnetic testing plate and may produce Lamb waves and Shear Horizontal (SH) waves in desired directions, and an apparatus for structural diagnosis using the magnetostrictive transducers. There is provided a magnetostrictive transducer comprising: a patch made of ferromagnetic material; and a magnetic field generator for generating magnetic field applied to the patch, the magnetic field generator being placed on the patch, wherein the magnetic field generator comprises: a main body; two magnets for generating bias magnetic field, the magnets being apart from each other; and a coil for winding around the magnets.
