The present disclosure relates to a manycore system which includes a device memory configured to store data associated with a job requested to be offloaded from a host device, and a plurality of clusters. Each of the plurality of clusters includes a program memory configured to store a program associated with the job requested to be offloaded, a plurality of cores configured to execute one or more threads associated with the job, and a management module configured to allocate one or more tasks associated with the job to the plurality of cores based on job loads of the plurality of cores, and control thread execution corresponding to the one or more allocated tasks. Each core includes thread areas configured to independently store and track an execution state of each thread executed on the core, and each thread executed on the core is independently executed using a separate thread area.

Manycore system

The present disclosure relates to a manycore system capable of asynchronous execution of a plurality of threads. The manycore system includes a device memory configured to store data associated with a job requested to be offloaded from a host device, and a plurality of clusters. Each cluster includes a plurality of cores configured to execute a plurality of threads associated with a plurality of tasks included in the job and a management module configured to control asynchronous execution of the plurality of threads by the plurality of cores. Each core includes a plurality of fetch units configured to fetch, from the program memory, instructions associated with threads executed on the cores, one or more execution units configured to execute operations associated with the threads executed on the cores, and a plurality of load and store units configured to load and store data associated with the threads executed on the cores.

A method for managing threads in a manycore system is launched by one or more processors, and includes receiving, from a host processor, a job descriptor associated with one or more tasks according to an offloading request of the host processor, generating threads for each of the one or more tasks based on the job descriptor, and allocating the generated threads to one or more cores of a cluster that includes a plurality of cores.

Method and apparatus for translating memory addresses in manycore system

Disclosed is an aqueous inorganic expandable refractory composition comprising: 1-3 wt % of a phosphorus-based flame retardant containing a carboxylic acid derivative; 15-20 wt % of a first metal oxide; 48-65 wt % of a second metal oxide containing silicon dioxide; 10-20 wt % of an aluminum hydroxide silicate mineral having a layered structure; and the balance of water. When the composition is heated, closed pores are formed in the composition due to carbon dioxide resulting from the thermal self-decomposition of the phosphorus-based flame retardant. Also, disclosed is a refractory board formed using the composition. Just after the refractory board is heated, the surface thereof is expanded while the thermal stability thereof is increased to suppress the burning thereof. Also, the back surface opposite the heated surface of the refractory board is not influenced by the heating condition of the heated surface, and thus shows no change in the temperature and shape thereof. Accordingly, the composition can be applied to not only inflammable materials such as natural fiber, synthetic fiber, paper and wood, but also iron materials.
