A dual clutch transmission which can reduce the overall length of a transmission and improve mountability in the vehicle by simplifying the constituent elements of the transmission, is configured by reducing the number of synchronizers and external gears and shafts, and a drive motor is not disposed on the same axle as other constituent elements to reduce the overall length of the transmission, reducing cost and weight of the transmission to improve mountability of the transmission in the vehicle.

A multi-stage transmission for vehicles includes an input shaft and an output shaft, a first planetary gear set, a second planetary gear set, a third planetary gear set, and a fourth planetary gear set configured to transmit rotary force between the input shaft and the output shaft. A multi-stage transmission for vehicles includes an input shaft for receiving power from an engine; an output shaft for outputting the power; and a first, a second, a third, and a fourth planetary gear device. Each of the planetary gear devices has three rotary elements. A transmission apparatus may include an input shaft and an output shaft; first to fourth planetary gear devices, each of which is disposed between the input shaft and the output shaft to transfer and has three rotation elements; and six gear-shifting elements connected to the rotation elements of the planetary gear devices, wherein a first rotation element of the first planetary gear device is fixedly connected to a first rotation element of the second planetary gear device, a second rotation element of the first planetary gear device is fixedly connected to a third rotation element of the second planetary gear device and to a third rotation element of the fourth planetary gear device, and a third rotation element of the first planetary gear device is fixedly connected to a third rotation element of the third planetary gear device and to a second rotation element of the fourth planetary gear device.

A multi-stage transmission includes an input shaft, an output shaft, a first planetary gear set, a second planetary gear set, a third planetary gear set, and a fourth planetary gear set. Each planetary gear set includes three rotating elements. Six shifting elements are connected to the rotating elements of the first, the second, the third and the fourth planetary gear sets. A first rotating element of the first planetary gear set is fixedly connected to a first rotating element of the second planetary gear set and a second rotating element of the third planetary gear set and is selectively connected to the input shaft. A second rotating element thereof is fixedly connected to a third rotating element of the third planetary gear set and a third rotating element of the fourth planetary gear set. A third rotating element thereof is selectively connected to the input shaft.

Disclosed herein is a multi-stage transmission for a vehicle. The multi-stage transmission includes an input shaft IN and an output shaft OUT; a first planetary gear set PG, a second planetary gear set PG, a third planetary gear set PG, and a fourth planetary gear set PGinstalled between the input shaft IN and the output shaft OUT so as to transfer a torque and each including three rotary elements; and six shifting elements connected to the rotary elements of the first to fourth planetary gear sets.
