A display device having a display panel including first and second folding areas, a first non-folding area between the first and second folding areas, and a second non-folding area. A panel support is disposed on a lower side of the display panel and includes a first lattice pattern overlapping the first folding area, a second lattice pattern overlapping the second folding area, a first flat plate overlapping the first non-folding area, and a second flat plate overlapping the second non-folding area. An adhesive member is interposed between the display panel and the panel support and includes a first adhesive member disposed directly on the first flat plate and a second adhesive member disposed directly on the second flat plate. An adhesive force between the first adhesive member and the first flat plate is greater than an adhesive force between the second adhesive member and the second flat plate.

Display device

A display device includes: a display panel; a driver IC positioned on the display panel; a supporting member positioned under the display panel; and a lower adhesive layer positioned between the display panel and the supporting member. A storage modulus of the lower adhesive layer is about 0.020 MPa to about 0.030 MPa at about 1 Hz and about 140° C.

A display device includes a display panel and a housing structure foldable together with each other, each including a first unfolded portion, a first folded portion, a second unfolded portion, a second folded portion and a third unfolded portion in order along a first direction, and first and second end portions respectively corresponding to outer edges of the third and second unfolded portions. The second end portion of the housing structure further includes a body portion, edge portions extended from the body portion and facing each other along a second direction, and a first protruding portion between the edge portions and protruded further from the edge portions in a direction away from the body portion. Housing structure and foldable display device having the same

A display device includes: a display panel including a front surface and a rear surface, the rear side being opposite to the front side; a front stacked structure on the front surface including a front bonding member disposed on the front surface; and a rear stacked structure on the rear surface including a rear bonding member disposed on the rear surface. A loss tangent of the front bonding member has a value greater than a loss tangent of the rear bonding member, the loss tangent being represented by an equation: (loss tangent)=(loss modulus)/(storage modulus), wherein the loss modulus refers to energy lost by viscosity of a material, and the storage modulus refers to energy stored without loss by elasticity of the material.

A display device according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a display panel that includes a substrate and an emission layer; and a support film that overlaps the display panel, the display panel and the support film including a bending area, and the support film including a first groove disposed in the bending area and a first crack prevention layer disposed in the first groove.

A display device includes a curvature-variable display panel including a plurality of pixels; a controller configured to correct and output an image signal supplied from the outside according to a radius of curvature of the display panel; a data driver configured to supply a data signal corresponding to the corrected image signal to a data line connected to the pixel; and a scan driver configured to supply a scan signal synchronized with the data signal to a scan line connected to the pixel. The controller may include a curvature detector configured to detect the radius of curvature of the display panel and a lookup table generator configured to generate a correction lookup table according to the radius of curvature of the display panel.

A backlight assembly includes a light source portion including a plurality of light sources having a first light source and a second light source, the second light source emits light of a color that is different from a color of light emitted from the first light source, and a reflective member that is adjacent to an edge portion of the light source portion, wherein the reflective member includes a base layer including a first region that faces the first light source and a second region that faces the second light source, and a plurality of color patterns including a plurality of first color patterns that are positioned on the first region of the base layer and a plurality of second color patterns that are positioned on the second region of the base layer, wherein the plurality of first color patterns and the plurality of second color patterns have different colors.
