The invention relates to a powertrain for a vehicle. The powertrain comprising: at least one propulsion unit; a transmission connected to the at least one propulsion unit; a propeller shaft connected to the transmission, and at least one drive shaft of a rear axle, which at least one drive shaft is connected to the propeller shaft, so that the propeller shaft extends between the transmission and the at least one drive shaft. The at least one propulsion unit is arranged in a position between the transmission and the rear axle in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The invention also relates to a vehicle.

The rotor arrangement comprises a first rotor comprising a hollow cylinder and a cylindrical rotor stack shrink-fitted onto the hollow cylinder. The rotor arrangement further comprises a rotor shaft comprising a first shaft member and a second shaft member arranged coaxially to the first shaft member. The first shaft member is connected to a connection portion of the first end plate. The rotor arrangement comprises a second rotor connected to the second shaft member. A gearbox for vehicles that include a split gearbox, a main gearbox and a range gearbox. The range gearbox is shiftable into a low range gear, a high range gear and a reverse gear. The range gearbox includes a planetary gear, which may be shifted into a reverse gear. The split gearbox and the main gearbox are together arranged to have a combined ratio spread larger than 5, in that the split gearbox and the main gearbox are together arranged to have a combined largest gear ratio over 4:1, and in that the planetary gear in the range gearbox has a gear ratio less than 4:1 when shifted into the reverse gear.

A gearbox for vehicles that includes a split gearbox, a main gearbox and a range gearbox, which is shiftable into a low range gear position and a high range gear position. The range gearbox includes a planetary gear with a ring gear wheel, a sun gear wheel and a planet carrier, on which at least one planet gear wheel is rotatably mounted. A gearbox housing surrounds the planetary gear. A first axially movable coupling sleeve engages the planet carrier with the gearbox housing. A second axially movable coupling sleeve engages the ring gear wheel with an output shaft to shift into a reverse gear. A crawler gear in the main gearbox is arranged to transfer torque through the gearbox when the range gearbox is shifted into the reverse gear.

A method of controlling the coupling arrangement in a gearbox, comprising: displacing the coupling sleeve to the second position by applying a first force on the coupling sleeve in the direction from the first position to the second position, overcoming a spring force acting on the coupling sleeve in the direction from the second position to the first position; relieving the first force on the coupling sleeve when the coupling sleeve is in the second position, and when a reaction force acting on the coupling sleeve overcomes the spring force, which reaction force is a result of torque transferred by the third engagement means on the coupling sleeve; applying the first force on the coupling sleeve in the direction from the first position to the second position, if the coupling sleeve is leaving the second position; and reducing the torque transferred by the coupling sleeve using the second power source.

Method of controlling a coupling arrangement in a gearbox

The invention relates to a coupling arrangement for a gearbox, comprising a coupling sleeve, which is axially displaceable between a first and second position, a first and second rotatable element, which are connectable and disconnectable to each other by means of the coupling sleeve, an electrical machine connected to one of the first and second rotatable element, and a position indicator device for detecting the angular position of a rotor of the electrical machine. The position indicator device also is arranged to detect the axial position of the coupling sleeve.

The invention relates to a lubrication system and a-method for controlling the lubrication system. The lubrication system comprises a bypass line by which it is possible to lead a part of the oil flow in the oil line past a component to be lubricated and back to the oil sump, a first valve configured to regulate the oil flow through the bypass line and a control unit. The control unit is configured to receive information from at least one parameter related to the oil flow to said component to estimate a required oil flow to said component in view of said parameter and to regulate the first valve such that a part of the oil flow in the oil line is led to the bypass line and that a remaining part of the oil flow, which corresponds to the required oil flow, is led to said component.
