The present invention relates to a cutting equipment having a cutting device with a cutting element and a drive device for the cutting element. The drive device includes a pneumatically driven piston/cylinder arrangement and a switch valve having a high-pressure input port, a high-pressure output port and a low-pressure output port, with the high-pressure input port coupled to a high-pressure source, the high-pressure output port coupled to a first cylinder chamber and the low-pressure output port coupled to a second cylinder chamber. The switch valve connects the high-pressure input port to the high-pressure output port upon application of a pressurized fluid, and connects the high-pressure output port to the low-pressure output port upon reduction of the pressure level of the pressurized fluid. The present invention further relates to a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products, including said cutting equipment, and a method for controlling the cutting equipment.

Cutting equipment

The present invention relates to a system for transferring sausage-shaped products, containing a flowable filling material in a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing from a discharge device of a processing machine for processing the sausage-shaped products to a handling device for the sausage-shaped products. The system comprises a belt conveyor device for subsequently receiving sausage-shaped products discharged from the discharge device in a discharge direction and for conveying the sausage-shaped products in a feeding direction to a releasing position in which the sausage-shaped products can be removed from the belt conveyor device, a drive assembly for driving said belt conveyor device in the feeding direction being at least substantially parallel to the discharge direction of the discharge device, a guiding assembly for guiding the sausage-shaped products when conveyed by the belt conveyor device in the feeding direction and at least one shaping box for subsequently receiving a sausage-shaped product released from the belt conveyor device in the releasing position, wherein the at least one shaping box is provided at least substantially underneath the belt conveyor device in a receiving position for receiving the sausage-shaped product released in a release direction substantially perpendicular to the feeding direction.

The present invention relates to a clipping tool assembly for closing at least one closure means, like a closure clip, in a packaging machine, like a clipping machine, for closing tubular or bag-shaped packaging casings. The clipping tool assembly comprises a first closing tool and a second closing tool, wherein at least the first closing tool is reversibly movable towards the second closing tool, between an opened position and a closed position, for closing the at least one closure means, and a drive means for reversibly moving at least the first closing tool towards the second closing tool in a closing direction. The clipping tool further comprises a pusher means provided in the region of the second closing tool for pushing the closure means just closed out of the second closing tool.

A casing brake assembly and a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products which includes such a casing brake assembly is presented. The casing brake assembly comprises a safety means comprising at least one tubular element and at least one switch element. The at least one tubular element is arranged coaxially with the tubular support means upstream with respect to a filling direction. The tubular element is axially spaced apart and moveably arranged with respect to the tubular support means. The switch element is stationary with respect to the tubular element and arranged for interacting with at least one safety means of the production apparatus. The casing brake assembly and a clipping machine using the casing brake assembly allow a high level of security for the operator.

The present invention relates to a drive device and a method for reversibly linearly moving a clipping module of a clipping machine. The drive device comprises a piston/cylinder assembly including a first piston and a housing including a first cylinder portion in which the first piston is arranged, the housing is reversibly movable relative to the first piston, a second piston coaxially aligned to the first piston, and a third piston coaxially aligned to the first piston. The drive device further comprises four variable cylinder volumes, a first cylinder volume between the first piston and the first cylinder portion, a second cylinder volume, a third cylinder volume, and a fourth cylinder volume, wherein each cylinder volume is coupled to a pressure source for being varied in order to reversibly move the clipping module, between a release position and a discharge position of the clipping machine.

The present invention relates to a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products by filling a flowable filling material into a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing and closing said packaging casing by at least one closure means, the clipping machine comprises a filling tube, having a central axis and a filling outlet, for feeding said filling material in a feeding direction via said filling outlet into said packaging casing, a displacement device for gathering the filled packaging casing and for forming a plait-like portion thereto, at least substantially free from filling material and a clipping device for applying at least one closure means to said plait-like portion. The displacement device of the inventive clipping machine is arranged in a replacement assembly group, wherein the group is removably arrangeable at the clipping machine in an engagement position, in which the replacement assembly group is coupled to the clipping machine for production process.

The invention relates to a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products comprising: a filling tube for feeding a tubular casing provided on the filling tube with filling material, a displacer unit having at least two pairs of displacer elements for gathering the filled tubular casing and for providing a plait-like portion, which is at least approximately free of filling material, a clipping device for applying two closure means to the plait-like portion, a first clip to close the tubular casing of the actually filled sausage-shaped product, and a second clip in order to close the front end of the tubular casing of the sausage-shaped product provided on the filling tube, and a cutting device having at least one blade for cutting the packing material between the first and second closure means wherein the cutting device comprises a fluid drive for driving the blade and being coupled to a fluid source.

The invention concerns an apparatus for picking up and guiding loops or the like which can be applied to articles, in particular sausage-shaped packs, comprising a loop feed means, an angled pick-up means having a front end, a pin which has a contact surface and which is movable between a first position in which it passes through the fed loop and in which the contact surface is in contact with the front end of the pick-up means, and a second position away from the front end of the pick-up means, and a drive for actuation of the contact pin. A torque support means is provided in the front region of the front end of the pick-up means and the contact surface of the pin has means for centering the pick-up means in such a way that the pick-up means does not bear against the torque support means when the pin is in the first position.

The present invention relates to a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products by filing a flowable filling material into a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing and closing said packaging casing by at least one closure means. The clipping machine comprises a filling tube having a first end, a second end and a central axis, the first end of the filing tube is directed in the feeding direction and the second end can pivotally be coupled to a filler device. The clipping machine further comprises a coverage device for covering a gap between the first end of the filling tube and a casing brake assembly including brake means for applying tension to the tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing when being filled, gathering means for gathering the filled tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing and for forming a plait-like portion thereto, and a clipping device having a clipping tool assembly.

The present invention concerns a manually operable clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products. The machine comprises a first displacer unit with a first pair of upper and lower displacer elements, at least the upper displacer element is reversibly movable in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal extending plait-axis between an opened and a closed position. The machine also comprises a second displacer unit with a second pair of upper and lower displacer elements, at least the upper displacer element is reversibly movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extending plait-axis between an opened and a closed position. The second displacer unit is reversibly movable parallel to the longitudinal extending plait-axis between a narrow position where the second displacer unit is adjacent to the first displacer unit, and a spread position in which the second displacer unit is moved away from the first displacer unit.

The invention concerns a method of and an apparatus for redistribution of pasty filling material in a closed, individually separated packaging casing in tube or bag form. At least two conveyor belts form between mutually facing first belt portions a through-passage cross-section which is of such a dimension that, when the packaging casing is conveyed through the through-passage cross-section, the filling material is distributed substantially over the entire length of the closed packaging casing in tube or bag form. The invention further concerns a manufacturing installation in which such a redistribution apparatus is disposed upstream of a closure device for dividing off a sausage, closing it by means of closure clips and individually separating the closed sausage.
