A method for determining state values of a wheel (R) of a wheel drive module that includes the wheel (R), a speed modulation gearbox (G), a first electric motor (M) and a second electric motor (M), as well as at least one first sensor (S) for sensing state values of the first electric motor (M), at least one second sensor (S) for sensing state values of the second electric motor (M), wherein additional state value sources of the electric motors (M, M) and/or the wheel (R) are provided and the sensed state values are compared with each other in order to compensate for and to recognize errors in the sensing of the state values so that actual state values of the wheel (R) are determined from the individual sensed state values.

A brake module () of a wheel module () has an anchor plate () adjacent to a wheel () and is indefinitely rotatable about the steering axis (L) with the wheel (). A lifting unit () is fixed adjacent to the anchor plate () and fixed about the steering axis (L). A brake wheel () is arranged on the wheel shaft () and is rotatable about the wheel axis (R) with the wheel (). At least one transfer element (') extends from the anchor plate () towards the brake wheel (). The lifting unit () is configured to move the anchor plate () from a first state to a second state. In the first state, the elements (′) are spaced apart without any contact. In the second state, the at least one transfer element (′) abuts against the brake wheel () generating a brake force at the brake wheel ().

A reel motor () for a driven conveyor roller has a stator () that is surrounded by a stator housing (). A rotor () drives a rotor shaft (). A tubular external housing () runs around the stator housing () at a distance in the circumferential direction. A cooling duct () is fluidically connected to an interior of the stator housing () holding the stator (). The cooling ductis formed between the external housing () and the stator housing (). An impeller wheel () is secured to the rotor shaft (). The impeller wheel generates a cooling air flow (K). The interior of the stator housing () and the cooling duct () determine a closed cooling circuit. The cooling air flow is guided through the closed cooling circuit.

The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a first electric motor (M) and a second electric motor (M) of a wheel drive module, wherein the wheel drive module comprises a wheel (R) and a speed modulation gearbox (G), and wherein the wheel (R) is drivable about a wheel axis (A) jointly by the first and the second electric motors (M, M) by means of the speed modulation gearbox (G) and steerable about a steering axis (L) which is orthogonal to the wheel axis (A), wherein electrical control signals for controlling the first and second electric motors (M, M) are determined from wheel reference values which characterize the driving and/or the steering of the wheel (R).

An electric motor () has: a stator () and a rotor () having a shaft (). The rotor () has a sensor magnet () having a number SP of sensor poles () for generating a predetermined distribution of the magnetic flux density, such that SP=2, 4, 6, 8, etc. The motor also has at least two rotor position sensors () for generating rotor position signals (B_S, B_S) characterizing the magnetic flux density, the rotor position sensors () being arranged in the region () of the circumference of the sensor magnet (). The motor also has an evaluation apparatus () that ascertains, from the rotor position signals (B_S, B_S), an absolute value (phi_el, phi_mech) for the rotational position of the rotor (). A method of generating an absolute value for the rotational position of an electric motor is likewise described.

In an electronically commutated motor (M), rotor position signals are generated by means of a galvanomagnetic rotor position sensor (). A timer (CNT_HL) brings about an advanced commutation which occurs only once the motor has reached a specific rotation speed, and whose magnitude is a function of the rotation speed.

An electric motor has a stator and an external rotor (). Its external rotor () has a sensor magnet () having a plurality SP of sensor poles (). The motor also has: at least one rotor position sensor () for generating a rotor position signal and a rotor position evaluation arrangement for generating an absolute value for the rotor position, which apparatus comprises an A/D converter () having a resolution of at least two bits, the at least one rotor position sensor () being connected to the A/D converter. In order to enable obtaining different digital values, even at rotational positions within the angle range of one sensor pole, each analog rotor position sensor signal is converted by the A/D converter into a digital value having at least two bits.

An arrangement having an electric motor () has a microcontroller () for influencing at least one motor function and a nonvolatile storage element () for storing at least one variable as a definition for that motor function. The arrangement also has an interface () for a data line () for transferring the at least one variable, in particular a current limiting value (I) from or to a storage element () by way of the microcontroller (), and optionally by way of an internal data bus (). The invention concerns a method for operating an electric motor () with which a microprocessor or microcontroller () and a nonvolatile memory () are associated, at least one operating data value of the motor () being automatically saved under program control in the nonvolatile memory () upon occurrence of an error. An electric motor for carrying out such a method is also described. The result of the invention is to increase the operating reliability of a motor, since the saved data can be polled from time to time or after occurrence of an error. The manner in which such errors are processed is also described.
