In aspects, the present invention provides a condition monitoring device for monitoring a condition of an electrical machine. The condition monitoring device comprises a housing affixed on a frame of the electrical machine, one or more sensors within the housing, for measuring one or more parameters of the electrical machine, and one or more magnetic coils electrically connected to an electrical energy storage unit located in the housing. The one or more magnetic coils are located within a cavity in the stator core thorough an aperture in the frame of the electrical machine and form an inductive circuit with one or more windings of the electrical machine, for supplying current to the electrical energy storage unit.

Condition monitoring device for an electrical machine

An end structure for a rotor of an electric machine is attachable to an end of the rotor. The end structure includes a ring arrangement, a rotational axis of which is parallel to that of the stacked rotor, and at least one reinforcing structure at least partly within the ring arrangement. A value of a tensile strength of the at least one reinforcing structure is higher than that of the ring arrangement.

A protection arrangement of an electric machine which includes a plurality of solid elements layered one after another between a terminal box and a stator of the electric machine. Each of the solid elements includes a cable hole, and the cable holes are arranged to at least partially overlap with each other in order to have a cable channel of the successive cable holes through the solid elements. At least a part of the solid elements are adjustable in a radial direction of the cable channel for making a diameter of the cable channel equal to or smaller than a diameter of the electric cable input in the cable channel in response to adjustment in the radial direction. The protection arrangement comprises a locking mechanism which immobilizes the at least part of solid elements.

A stack of a rotor comprises a plurality of stack elements which include material of first magnetic conductance. The rotor includes sectorial sections distributed round a rotational axis of the rotor. Each of the stack elements has an aperture of second magnetic conductance in each of the sectorial sections. Outer ends of the apertures are located at a rim of the stack elements or at a bridge of the rim. The apertures form channels through the stack in a direction of a rotational axis of the rotor. At least two of the apertures of a common channel of the channels have the outer ends at different radial distances from the rotational axis of the rotor.

Rotor of electric machine and manufacturing method thereof

The invention relates to a rotor for a synchronous reluctance electric machine. It includes a stack of consecutive magnetically conductive core elements; each core element includes at least two adjacent sectorial sections with flux barriers and a central area surrounding the rotational axis. A binding structure includes core end plates which form together with interconnection casts a unitary casted structure. The interconnection casts are casted into channels extending through the stack and which are located in an area defined by the flux barriers of the adjacent sectorial sections and the central area of each core element.

The present disclosure relates to rotating electric machines which may be used for industrial applications, to a method for manufacturing a rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor, a rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor, and a synchronous reluctance motor. A rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor according to the present disclosure has a cylindrical rotor body part casted from a superparamagnetic material, and ferromagnetic flux guides arranged inside the casted cylindrical rotor body part. The flux guides are arranged to go through from one side of the outer circumference of the cylindrical rotor part to the other side of the outer circumference of the cylindrical rotor part in the direction of the direct axis of the synchronous reluctance motor.

Method for manufacturing a rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor, a rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor, and a synchronous reluctance motor

A rotor disk for an electric motor including a shaft hole for receiving a shaft of the electric motor, a set of positioning holes around the shaft hole, each configured to receive a positioning pin. The shaft hole and the set of positioning holes are positioned in the rotor disk such that when the rotor disk is set to a rotated position with respect to another similar rotor disk, and the shaft and the positioning pins are penetrated to the respective holes of the two rotor disks, the disks cause a pressing force to the shaft.

Rotor disk and assembly method

An exemplary stator disk of an electric motor stator includes a set of recesses. Each recess being configured to receive a cooling pipe. The stator disk includes one or more positioning elements for aligning the stator disk with another stator disk. The one or more positioning elements being positioned to the stator disk such that when the stator disk is set to a rotated position with respect to the other stator disk in order to align the recesses of the disks for receiving of cooling pipes, the positioning elements of the two disks become only partly aligned with each other.

A cooling arrangement is disclosed for an electrical machine in which the main cooling air circulation within the machine is arranged using a centrifugal blower in at least one of the ends of the machine, making the main cooling air circulation flow through at least an air space in the machine and the outer surface of the stator. A circulating fan is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the centrifugal fan for the purpose of generating a coil end circulation that circulates air at least in the area of the machine's coil ends.

The object of the invention is a rotor () for a permanent-magnet electrical machine, comprising an axle () mounted to the machine body with bearings, a rotor pack made of iron and arranged around the axle (), as well as permanent magnets () adapted to the rotor pack, used for forming the magnetic poles () of the rotor. According to the invention, the rotor poles () contain a slot () extending from both edges of the pole () essentially towards the centre of the pole; the slot () is closer to the outer circumference () of the rotor than the central axle of the rotor. The invention also includes a method for manufacturing such a rotor.
