In a double-stacked electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structure, a first conductive plane and a second conductive plane are spaced apart in parallel. At least two EBG layers are embedded in parallel between the first conductive plane and the second conductive plane. The at least two EBG layers have different stopband characteristics. A plurality of vias connect the at least two EBG layers respectively to one of the first and second conductive planes. At least the vias connecting one of the EBG layers pass through via holes in cells of another EBG layer.

A mobile radio-frequency identification (RFID) reader includes a high-frequency front-end unit including an antenna, a circulator, an output amplifier, and a signal processor chip. The signal processor chip includes a high-frequency transceiver, a pseudo-leakage signal generator configured to generate a pseudo-leakage signal based on a transmission high-frequency signal, the transmission high-frequency signal being provided from the high-frequency transceiver and being provided to the high-frequency front-end unit and a subtractor configured to subtract the pseudo-leakage signal from a received high-frequency signal to generate a subtracted signal, the pseudo-leakage signal corresponding to a transmission leakage signal included in the received high-frequency signal, the received high-frequency signal being provided from the high-frequency front-end unit, and the subtracted signal being provided to the high-frequency transceiver. Therefore, the RFID reader may eliminate a transmission leakage signal.

The present invention is to implement a SOP of a mobile RFID interrogator. The substrate has external connection terminal patterns on a first surface of a substrate and circuit wiring patterns on a second surface of the substrate. a high frequency front-end part, a power amplifier IC, an analog-digital signal processing chip and the like are mounted on the second surface. The high frequency front-end part is to transmit and receive a RFID signal. The power amplifier IC is to output an amplified high frequency transmission signal to the high frequency front-end part. The analog-digital signal processing chip is to output a high frequency transmission signal to the power amplifier IC and process the RFID signal received through the high frequency front-end part, a mold resin is to cover the second surface and components mounted on the second surface for electrical insulation from outside and physical protection from outside.

The present invention relates to a SiP having reduced influence between a conductor and an antenna, and a method of designing the SiP. The SiP includes an antenna configured to function to transmit or receive data and mounted in the SiP to be integrated in the SiP, and a first planar conductor having at least one slit formed therein. Therefore, the present invention minimizes the amount of current or electromagnetic field induced on the conductor by the current or electromagnetic field of the antenna, thus reducing the influence of the conductor on the operating characteristics of the antenna.

System-in-package having reduced influence between conductor and antenna and method of designing the same

A Method and an apparatus for distributing a clock signal are disclosed. The apparatus for distributing a clock signal includes a pair of flat plates, a variable inductor and a connection channel. The pair of flat plates includes a clock flat plate having at least one of clock signal extraction points and a reference flat plate arranged in parallel to the clock flat plate. The inductor is connected between the pair of flat plates, and the connection channel is configured to connect electrically the at least one of clock signal extraction points to an external circuit. The inductor may be adjusted to have an inductance for generating a resonance signal of a target frequency from the pair of flat plates.
