Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner that opens or closes a hole formed in a suction portion according to a state of a surface to be cleaned, thereby efficiently cleaning. A vacuum cleaner includes a suction portion configured to suck foreign materials on a surface to be cleaned. The suction portion includes a case having an air hole formed in a flow path, a frame configured to be accommodated in the case and open or close the air hole, and a button configured to be mounted on the case and be operated to move the frame.

A vacuum cleaner includes a main body including a fan motor to generate suction force, a suction unit connected to the main body to suction foreign matter from a surface to be cleaned in a state of contacting the surface, a dust collector separatably mounted to the main body to separate and collect dust from air suctioned by the suction unit, and a wheel assembly to move the main body, wherein the wheel assembly includes frames provided at a lower part and left and right sides of the main body and wheels rotatably mounted to the frames provided at the left and right sides of the main body, each wheel having a negative camber angle.

A cyclone dust collector includes a cyclone chamber to centrifugally separate dust by creating rotating airflow, and a ring-shaped indicator provided to the cyclone chamber to rotate due to the rotating airflow in the cyclone chamber. The indicator visualizes the rotating airflow by rotating when the rotating airflow is created. The user may easily check condition of the rotation airflow and take proper action in the case that the cleaner malfunctions.

Disclosed is a dust collector provided with a dust-removing unit. The disclosed dust collector comprises: a first centrifugal separating tube defining a first centrifugal area for separating dust from air suctioned in through a first inlet; a first dust box for collecting dust separated in the first centrifugal area; a first detaching portion having a first exhaust pipe unit for exhausting the air from the first centrifugal separating tube and the first dust box to the outside; and a handle unit for maintaining the first centrifugal separating tube and the first dust box coupled together, or for releasing the coupling thereof.
