A device may include a memory, line cards, and a processor. The memory may include an address database for storing sub-location addresses. The line cards may be configured to communicate with other devices. The processor may be configured to receive a request to reconcile physical addresses from a network device, retrieve sub-location addresses from the database based on the request, determine whether each of the sub-location addresses can be deleted from the database based on association between the sub-location address and a physical device, and, for each of the sub-location addresses, delete the sub-location address from the database based on the determination.

Method and system for processing log information

A device receives instructions for extracting, transforming, and loading data; identifies a plurality of data processing activities based on the instructions; and determines a processing sequence for performing the plurality of data processing activities. The device further creates a plurality of processing objects corresponding to the plurality of data processing activities. Each one of the plurality of processing objects including a discrete data structure that is produced by performing a corresponding one of the plurality of data processing activities. The device performs the plurality of data processing activities in accordance with the processing sequence and by using the plurality of processing objects.

Data extraction, transformation, and loading

A device may include a memory and a processor. The memory may be configured to store a regular address database and store a translated address database. The processor may be configured to perform a lookup, in the regular address database, of a regular address that corresponds to a working address. In addition, the processor may be further configured to determine whether the working address is qualified to be converted into an address comprising aliases that correspond to terms in the working address when the regular address is not found in the translated address database, and convert the working address to generate a first translated address when the working address is qualified to be converted.
