A transmission clutch, for releasably coupling a driven shaft to a driving shaft, comprising a driving part and a driven part, with the driving part including a reaction plate while the driven part includes a hub which is fixed to the driven shaft for rotation of the latter therewith. A dynamic vibration damper (dynamic absorber) is carried by the hub and includes a secondary plate and a radial support plate, which is secured to the hub and which carries a friction liner for frictional cooperation with the secondary plate. The radial support member is coupled to the hub both axially and in rotation, and carries a block of resilient material which is fixed to the friction liner, being interposed between the latter and the radial support member.

Transmission clutch for a motor vehicle having a dynamic absorber

A transmission clutch, for releasably coupling a driven shaft to a driving shaft, comprises a driving part and a driven part, with the driving part including a reaction plate and the driven part including a hub which is fixed to the driven shaft for rotation with the latter. The clutch includes a dynamic absorber associated with the hub and carried by the pressure plate. The dynamic absorber comprises an input part carried by the inner periphery of the pressure plate, with a bearing being interposed between this input part and the inner periphery of the pressure plate. The absorber also has an output part and a disengageable rotatable coupling between the output part and the hub. This coupling couples the output part of the dynamic absorber rotatably with the hub when the clutch is engaged.

A general-purpose document folding machine comprises a folding module including at least one folding blade on a main document path. A pair of feed rollers and a pair of ejector rollers for advancing and ejecting documents are associated with each folding blade, disposed one on each side thereof and adapted to have the rollers driven to advance documents along the main path. At least one deflector flap on the main path diverts selectively from the main path documents that are to be folded. Drive means displace each folding blade transversely to a diverted document facing it in order to fold the document and also displace each folding blade along the main path at a longitudinal speed substantially equal to the rate of advance of the documents along the main path. This is in order to fold a diverted document while in motion and insert it between the rollers of the respective pair of ejector rollers. A guide flap associated with each folding blade is disposed transversely to the main path between the folding blade and the associated pair of ejector rollers and is linked to the main path by the deflector flap when the latter is in its diversion position to define a secondary document path between the folding blade and the associated pair of ejector rollers.
