Hip joint assemblies, and posable toy figures that incorporate the hip joint assemblies, including a pelvis housing having a front portion and a back portion, where the front and back portions in combination define side openings in the pelvis housing, and a contoured friction plate vertically disposed within the pelvis housing. The hip joint assembly further includes two leg sections, each leg section having a disk member attached via a hip post, and each leg combined with the pelvis housing so that the disk member lies within the pelvis housing and the hip post passes through a side opening so that the face of the disk member abuts a face of the contoured friction plate, and the frictional interaction between the disk face and the friction plate renders the attached leg posable as it pivots around the axis defined by its hip post.

Frictional joint for a toy figure

A toy figurine is disclosed. The toy figurine includes a body to which one or more plates are coupled. The toy figurine includes a launching mechanism that is used to launch a projectile from the toy figurine. The plates cover the launching mechanism when the plates are mounted to the body.

Toy figurine with removable features

A toy figure is disclosed herein, the toy figure having a main body portion; a pair of appendages movably secured to the main body portion for movement from a first position to a second position and back to the first position; and a removably body portion removably secured to the main body portion, wherein the pair of appendages grasp the removably body portion when they are moved to the second position and the removably body portion is removably secured to the main body portion, wherein the removably body portion is subsequently removed from the main body portion by the pair of appendages as they are moved back towards the first position from the second position.

The action figure includes a body having a plurality of appendages including a first appendage configured to rotate about a first axis and a second appendage configured to rotate about a second axis. The action figure further includes a first movement assembly configured to drive movement of the first appendage and a second movement assembly configured to drive movement of the second appendage. A sunshade for a vehicle such as an automobile includes a housing that is adapted to be mounted to a vehicle window and a drum member mounted for rotation within the housing about which a flexible, weblike shade element is wound. A retraction mechanism is provided for enabling the shade element to be moved from a first, retracted position wherein most of the shade element is wrapped about the drum member and a second, extended position wherein the shade element is at least partially unwrapped from the drum member. The retraction mechanism includes a biasing mechanism for biasing the drum member so that the shade element is urged toward the first, retracted position, and an arresting mechanism that is constructed and arranged so as to permit the drum member to be stopped when the shade element is in the second, extended position and, in addition, in at least one intermediate position that is between the first, retracted position and the second, extended position. Indicia may be provided on the shade element for informational, educational, entertainment or other purposes, and a number of releasably affixable marker elements may be provided for interaction with the indicia.

Sun shade for vehicles

A single use product tag configured for use with a filament fastener to attach the tag to a manufactured article, e.g., a garment. The tag comprises a housing having an access channel leading to an interior cavity. The crossbar end of a filament fastener can be inserted through the access channel for placement into the interior cavity. A closure device is mounted in the tag housing for movement from an open position to a sealing position to block the access channel so as to prevent removal of the crossbar end of the fastener and prevent the insertion of another fastener.
