System architecture for fraud detection

An apparatus includes a user interface module configured to receive user information associated with a user. The apparatus also includes a classification module configured to apply a classifier defined within a classification tree to the user information, and to calculate a classification score representing an estimated likelihood that the user is associated with at least one user type. The classification module is also configured to classify the user to an identified user type based on the classification score. The apparatus also includes a database configured to store at least one of user account information associated with the user, historical information associated with the user, or historical information associated with a group of users including the user. The apparatus also includes an interface generation module configured to generate a signal based on the information in the database, the signal specifying a user interface to be presented to the user.

Systems, apparatuses and methods for communication flow modification

A method includes receiving at a host device a first communication associated with a transaction from at least one electronic device included in a set of electronic devices. The host device includes at least a memory, a processor, and a database. The first communication received at a first time and via a first communication mode. The method includes sending a response to the first communication at a second time after the first time and independent of the first time. The host devices receives a second communication associated with the transaction from the at least one electronic device at a third time. The first communication, the response to the first communication, and the second communication are displayable in a persistent record of the transaction regardless of a difference between the first time and the third time.

Apparatus and methods for multi-mode asynchronous communication

An apparatus, includes a user interface module configured to send a signal to display an interface of a self-service application used by a user to communicate with a host device via a network. The apparatus also includes a bandwidth analysis module operatively coupled to the user interface module. The bandwidth analysis module is configured to calculate a bandwidth associated with communication with the host device via the network. The bandwidth analysis module is also configured to receive, from the host device, a bandwidth criterion associated with at least one network communication mode used for communication with the host device. The user interface module is configured to reduce or eliminate an availability of the at least one network communication mode to the self-service application when the bandwidth fails to meet the bandwidth criterion.

Methods and apparatus for adaptive bandwidth-based communication management

A system and method allows a customer company to create, modify and control interactive voice response (IVR) applications from a remote location. In one embodiment, a first IVR application is used to develop, modify and/or control a second IVR application. The first IVR application could be accessed by telephone or by computer using any type of data communications network. In alternate embodiments, a customer can use a computer at the customer's location to develop a new IVR application which is then downloaded to an IVR service provider's equipment. Alternatively, a customer could use a computer to access an IVR system, and a graphical or audio/graphical interface can be used to develop a new IVR application, or to modify and/or control pre-existing IVR applications.
