A system may include first and second apparatuses. The first and second apparatuses may each include: an enclosure portion including a plurality of mounting features that are configured to receive information handling systems, wherein dimensions of the enclosure portion define a footprint; a base portion disposed below the enclosure portion and coupled to the enclosure portion; a plurality of casters coupled to the base portion and mounted in respective positions that are laterally displaced from the base portion such that the positions are outside the footprint of the enclosure portion; and a locking mechanism. The first and second apparatuses may be operable to be coupled together via their respective locking mechanisms for transport.

Interlocking transportation totes

An apparatus may include a plastic frame; a plurality of mounting features coupled to the plastic frame such that the plastic frame is configured to maintain the plurality of mounting features in a desired orientation, wherein the plurality of mounting features, when in the desired orientation, are operable to receive and retain information handling systems; and a base coupled to the plastic frame and disposed below the plastic frame along a central vertical axis of the apparatus that is defined by the orientation of the plurality of mounting features.

Plastic tote

A clamping device secures an equipment rack during shipping. The clamping device includes a gripping portion having first and second surfaces positionable along opposing sides of a respective one of a front and rear lateral logistic bar. The clamping device also includes a clamp mechanism attached to the gripping portion for movement between a disengaged position and an engaged position to selectively engage the first and second surfaces to the opposing sides of the respective one of the front and rear lateral logistic bars positioned adjacent to an equipment rack within a carrier shipping enclosure. A mounting feature is attached to the gripping portion to hold one end of a longitudinal logistic bar positioned along a lateral side of the equipment rack.

Structure and method for securing and transporting equipment racks

A housing device for isolating electromagnetic interference emitting devices includes a structural frame for housing the electromagnetic interference emitting devices. The housing device further includes a non-structural electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure. The non-structural electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure is for encapsulating the structural frame. The non-structural electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure includes an access portion that enables the structural frame to be accessed. The access portion includes a vent.

System and method for isolated device access

An apparatus may include an enclosure that includes a plurality of mounting features that are configured to receive information handling systems; an information handling resource configured to store and update a data structure that includes information regarding the information handling systems that are received in the enclosure; and a display configured to display inventory information for the enclosure based on the data structure.

A housing device for isolating electromagnetic interference emitting devices includes a structural frame. The structural frame of the housing device is for housing the electromagnetic interference emitting devices. The housing device further includes an electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure. The electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure of the housing device is non-structural. The electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure of the housing device is for encapsulating the structural frame.

System and method for managing electromagnetic interference

An apparatus may include an enclosure portion having a width, a depth, and a height, wherein the enclosure portion has a footprint defined by the width and the depth, and wherein the enclosure portion includes a plurality of mounting features that are configured to receive information handling systems along a direction corresponding to the depth. The apparatus may further include a base portion disposed below the enclosure portion and coupled to the enclosure portion. The apparatus may yet further include a plurality of casters coupled to the base portion and mounted in respective positions that are laterally displaced from the base portion such that the positions are outside the footprint of the enclosure portion.

Integrated shock and vibration isolation

A shipping apparatus utilizes logistic bars attached laterally across a carrier shipping enclosure such as truck trailer or shipping container. The logistic bars can engage tracks attached to lateral sidewalls of the carrier shipping enclosure. One or more equipment racks are positioned behind one of the lateral logistic bars. Another logistic bar is placed behind the one or more equipment racks. Each of the equipment racks are secured in place by clamping devices positioned along a respective lateral logistic bar to be proximate to a respective corner of the equipment rack. Longitudinal logistic bars are engaged to a pair of the clamping devices that are on opposing lateral sides of the equipment rack. The shipping apparatus provides a rigid structure that is appropriately positioned without damaging components within the equipment rack and preventing swaying during transport of the equipment rack.
