A multi-zone electric heating blanket. The blanket may be shaped to cover the outstretched arms or other body parts of a patient. The blanket includes first and second body part portions and a connecting bridge. The interconnection via the bridge leaves an open gap between the first and second body part portions for unblocked access to the patient. A power controller may supply power to heating elements in both body part portions based on a temperature sensor in one of the body part portions.

Container

A container for storage, transport and dispensing of liquid chemicals uses a collapsable thin film pouch which is sealed to a fitment and is positioned within a bottle or overpack. A retainer and cap hold the pouch and fitment in place within the bottle. The cap provides an inner seal and an outer seal which remain intact during shipping and storage. In use, the outer seal is removed and the container is connected to either a manual or an automated dispensing system which includes a valve probe which breaks the inner seal. In the manual system the bottle is inverted so that flow of liquid from the pouch is gravity assisted. In the automated system, the container is placed within a pressure vessel and air pressure is applied both to the outside of the bottle and also to the inside of the bottle to assist in collapsing the pouch and forcing the liquid out of the pouch. When empty, the container is removed from the manual or automated dispensing system and the cap and retainer are removed to allow removal and disposal of the pouch and fitment.

A liquid chemical handling system is suitable for handling a liquid chemical during dispensing. A container holds the liquid chemical and a collar couples the container to a dispenser during dispensing. A coupling clip, has a lever portion pivotally coupled to the collar. The coupling clip also has a locking tab pivotally coupled to a lever portion so that depression of the lever portion causes the locking tab to move between a locking position and an unlocking position. The coupling clip is also provided with a bias mechanism, which is coupled to the coupling clip, and which biases the lever portion to hold the locking tab in the locking position.

A pressurizable chemical vessel for storing and transporting fluid chemicals and delivering the contents under pressure to the point of the use is comprised of an outer housing, an inner fluid container, and an energy absorbing filler therebetween. The outer housing consists of an upper canister and a canister base removably attached thereto. The entire assembly is desirably of nonmetallic construction and the vessels are designed to be securely stackable for storage and transport. The neck of the chemical vessel is adapted to receive a detachable pressurizable fluid delivery assembly of known design.

A bung connection for a rigid container has a bung body which threads into the bung opening, and has a base wall with two or more access openings which are connected to tubes extending to the flowable material in the container. A tube mounting is removably inserted into the bung body and has flow ports which connect with the access ports in the base wall. Flow tubes connect to the tube mounting. The tube mounting and bung body have a coded pattern of interfitting lugs and recesses which prevent full assembly of the tube mounting and bung body if the coding is wrong. A clamp ring secures the tube mounting in the bung body. A shipping plug and liner replace the tube mounting in the bung body for shipping the container to be refilled and then returned for use again.
