A valve assembly includes a body, a spring, a spacer, an interfacing member, a connecting rod, and a plunger. The body includes a first section defining a first opening, a second section defining a chamber, a second opening, and a pressure port, and a third section defining a third opening and a release port. The second section is between the first section and the third section. The spring is positioned within the third opening. The spacer is positioned within the third opening and coupled with the spring. The interfacing member is positioned partially within the third opening and coupled with the spacer. The connecting rod is positioned partially within the second opening and the chamber and coupled with the interfacing member. The plunger is positioned within the chamber and coupled with the connecting rod.

A nitrogen generation system includes a nitrogen generator and a bypass device. The nitrogen generator receives air and outputs nitrogen using the air along a first flow path to an outlet. The bypass device is coupled with an air source and the nitrogen generator. The bypass device controls flow of air from the air source to flow along the first path through the nitrogen generator or along a second path to the outlet based on a pressure condition.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods of assembly of a dry pipe manifold assembly. The dry pipe manifold assembly including a lower plate and an upper plate fixed to the lower plate creating a water passage with a series of ports. The assembly further including a dry pipe actuator, manual reset actuator sub-assembly, manual trip valve, and alarm test sub-assembly fixed to the upper plate. The assembly allowing for fluid flow between the dry pipe actuator, manual reset actuator sub-assembly, and manual trip valve through the water passage.

Dry pipe manifold systems and methods

A manual reset actuator includes a main drain, a diaphragm release aperture fluidly coupled to a flow control valve, an upper chamber, a control port, a control orifice, an upper chamber supply orifice, and a sealing assembly, which includes a button, and a plunger. A pressure in the upper chamber exerts a downward force on the plunger. A spring exerts an upward force on the plunger. The fluid in the upper chamber is released via the control orifice, which lowers the pressure in the upper chamber, decreasing the downward force exerted on the plunger. When the downward force is less than the upward force, the spring forces the plunger upwards into an open configuration, which unseals the diaphragm release aperture. When the upward force is less than the downward force, the plunger remains in a closed configuration, which keeps the diaphragm release aperture sealed.

Manual reset actuator for diaphragm control valve

A sprinkler accelerator system includes an accelerator and at least one orifice. The accelerator is coupled with at least one pipe coupled with at least one sprinkler, and vents gas from the at least one pipe when the at least one sprinkler opens. The at least one orifice controls a rate of change of pressure in the at least one pipe to control operation of a flow control valve coupled with the accelerator.

A pressure in the upper chamber exerts a downward force on the plunger. A spring exerts an upward force on the plunger. The fluid in the upper chamber is released via the control orifice, which lowers the pressure in the upper chamber, decreasing the downward force exerted on the plunger. When the downward force is less than the upward force, the spring forces the plunger upwards into an open configuration, which unseals the diaphragm release aperture. When the upward force is less than the downward force, the plunger remains in a closed configuration, which keeps the diaphragm release aperture sealed.
