A system includes display equipment and a processor coupled to the display equipment. The processor is configured to cause the display equipment to display an electronic checklist associated with an aircraft. The processor is configured determine whether the electronic checklist includes a checklist item associated with a particular control page of a plurality of control pages. The processor is configured to, based on determining that the electronic checklist includes the checklist item associated with the particular control page, cause the display equipment to display the particular control page that includes a control element that is selectable to cause a control command to be sent to one or more components.

System and method for displaying an electronic checklist for an aircraft

Example implementations relate to providing head and neck support. An example system includes a helmet, a load bearing harness, and a flexible extension coupled between the helmet and the load bearing harness. An activation of a magnetic field proximate the flexible extension causes a ferromagnetic infused medium to transition from a fluid state to a substantially rigid state causing the flexible extension to transition from a flexible state to a rigid state. When the flexible extension is in the rigid state, force applied to the helmet transfers through the flexible extension to the load bearing harness. The system further includes a sensor configured to detect an event. Particularly, the sensor causes the activation of the magnetic field proximate the flexible extension in response to detecting the event.

The method further includes determining whether the electronic checklist includes a checklist item associated with states of multiple components of a subsystem associated with the electronic checklist. Methods and systems for depicting a wind force exerted on an airborne vehicle are provided herein. The method includes receiving, by a processor, wind data measured by one or more airborne vehicles and position data associated with the one or more airborne vehicles. The method also includes generating, by the processor, a map display depicting a position of each of the one or more airborne vehicles based on the received position data. The method further includes generating a vehicle symbol on the map display for each of the one or more airborne vehicles. The vehicle symbol includes a vehicle indicator and a wind indicator. The wind indicator includes a symbol indicating a speed and a direction of wind exerted on the vehicle.

Methods and systems for airborne vehicle wind depiction

A method and apparatus for assisting in management of a number of unmanned aerial vehicles. Symbols used to display a number of pre-planned routes for the number of unmanned aerial vehicles are identified on a top-down view of the number of pre-planned routes. Flight information with respect to time for the number of unmanned aerial vehicles on a number of timelines is displayed using the symbols identified as being used to display the number of pre-planned routes for the number of unmanned aerial vehicles on the top-down view of the number of pre-planned routes.

A method and apparatus for assisting in management of unmanned aerial vehicles. Planned routes are identified for the unmanned aerial vehicles. The planned routes are displayed on a map. A set of planned routes is identified that is within a predefined distance of a selected planned route during substantially a same point in time within a viewing area on the map.

In accordance with one or more embodiments, systems and methods for in-flight fuel delivery include an aerial refueling device adapted to provide fuel to a receiver aircraft, an optical component adapted to capture images of the aerial refueling device and the receiver aircraft, an operator input component adapted to interface with an operator and capture control signals as input from the operator, and a display component adapted to display images. A controller is adapted to receive the captured images and the captured control signals, process the control signals by generating graphic display symbology, process the images by generating a combined image having the generated graphic display symbology superimposed on the images, and display the combined image on the display component for viewing by the operator. The controller is adapted to superimpose the graphic display symbology on a portion of the images obscured by the aerial refueling device.
