A method for detecting the displacement position of a vehicle seat is described. When the vehicle seat is being displaced, a magnetic field-sensitive sensor device monitors a change of one magnetic field component and depending on the output signal which has been generated by the sensor device, a conclusion is drawn about the adjustment position of the vehicle seat. The magnetic field-sensitive sensor device is displaced relative to a measuring section using the magnetic field-sensitive device. An absolute value of the magnetic field strength of a magnetic field whose magnetic field strength changes essentially continuously along a longitudinal extension of the measuring section is detected and converted into an absolute displacement position of the vehicle seat.

Method and device for detection of the displacement position of a motor vehicle seat

An exemplary circuit arrangement for a belt lock of a passenger restraint system in motor vehicles includes one contact sheet pair having a fixed contact sheet and an elastic contact sheet which interacts with a slide. The slide is a component of a locking mechanism located in a belt lock housing for an inserted belt tongue, and is pushed in a displacement channel from a first end position into a second end position when the locking mechanism is actuated. The contact sheet pair is in a housing part which borders the displacement channel. A part, which projects from the elastic contact sheet through a housing wall opening into the displacement channel, is exposed to the action of the slide to open or close an electrical contact to the contact sheet. The circuit includes means for preventing abraded matter from traveling into the contact region of the contact sheet pair.

Circuit arrangement for a belt lock

A device for monitoring belt tension includes two supporting elements for supporting a belt, a deflecting element between the supporting elements, at least one elastic element and a switch. A sufficiently high tension for a belt that is supported on the supporting elements and guided past the deflecting element may be displayed if the deflecting element has been moved in a predefined way against a restoring force of the elastic element, thereby actuating the switch.

Belt tension monitor

A belt lock for a seat belt equipped with a locking mechanism that is arranged in a belt lock housing. The locking mechanism has a component that changes its location from a first end position into a second end position and detects a locking status. In the actuation of the locking mechanism, the component that changes its location interacts with the detector of the locking status. The locking status is detected by an electromechanical switch that is arranged in the vicinity of the component that changes its location and can be actuated upon its movement from the first into the second end position.

Belt lock with a means for detecting the locking status

A belt lock for a seat belt that has a locking mechanism that is arranged in a belt lock housing. The locking mechanism includes a component that changes location from a first end position into a second end position when the locking mechanism is actuated, and in doing so interacts with a status detector. The status detector is designed as an electrical switching system. The component that changes location is a mandrel that can be moved axially when the locking mechanism is actuated and that is provided with an electrically conductive contact region and forms a component of the electrical switching system.

A magnetic linear sensor arrangement for detecting the position of a component that can be moved along a predefined movement path includes a device disposed along the movement path for generating a magnetic field whose polarity changes along the movement path of the component, and at least one galvanomagnetic detector with at least two measurement fields, which is arranged within the effective region of the magnetic field. The detector can be moved relative to the magnetic field along the movement path of the component. The galvanomagnetic detector is a Hall sensor which is designed to measure the magnetic field spatially or in at least two directions within a plane. The Hall sensor is provided with at least two measurement fields which are rotationally offset and perpendicular to each other in a corresponding plane.

Switch assembly, including a fixed contact part, an elastic switching contact part, a mounting plate, wherein the fixed contact part and the switching contact part are located on the mounting plate, the switching contact part having at least one extension that projects beyond an outside surface of the mounting plate upon installation and in an operating position such that when the switching contact part is exposed to pressure in a direction of the mounting plate, an electrical signal between the elastic switching contact part and the fixed contact part will be either interrupted or established. A fixing mechanism pretensions the switching contact part prior to installation such that the at least one extension does not project beyond the outside surface of the mounting plate. The fixing mechanism releases the switching contact part tension when the switch assembly is installed and in the operating position.

Switch protection prior to installation in a belt lock

Hall sensor arrangement is disclosed for detection of the change in the position of two components which can move relative to one another into two end positions, with a Hall sensor with at least one Hall measurement field (H; H, H) and a field magnet. An actuator is provided for transmitting to the Hall sensor the change in the position of the two components which can move relative to one another. The Hall sensor and the field magnet are combined into a preassembled structural unit. When the position of the field magnet changes relative to the Hall sensor from one end position into the other end position the polarity of the magnetic field acting on the Hall measurement field (H; H, H) can change, e.g., the polarity becomes reversed.
