The present disclosure provides a tip camera system that includes a probe including a probe body and a probe tip, an optical fiber light source, and an optical fiber positioned within the probe body that emits light at the probe tip to illuminate a local view of an interior of an eye. The system further includes a tip camera positioned in the probe tip and includes a sensor that detects light emitted by the optical fiber and reflected off the interior of the eye, and that sends a signal corresponding to the detected light to a processor. The system also includes an image processing system that includes the processor and that executes instructions to produce a tip camera digital image of the eye. The system also includes a digital display that displays the tip camera digital image of the eye.

Tip camera systems and methods for vitreoretinal surgery

This disclosure describes techniques for discovering network metrics relating to communications between a client device and a server device via a network. The client device may send one or more queries to a network device of the network. The network device may reply to the query of the client device with network metrics. The client device may forward the network metrics to the server device. For instance, an administrator at the server device may receive the network metrics. As such, the network metrics are discoverable by the client device and/or the administrator. Furthermore, the administrator may be able to use the discovered network metrics to monitor and/or troubleshoot a performance issue.

Provided herein are cannula devices that are self-illuminating to facilitate visualization of the cannula devices during a surgical procedure. The self-illuminating feature may be provided by phosphors incorporated into the cannula device, for example in the hub or sealing element of the cannula device. The cannula device may emit light of a specific color selected to correspond to a size of the cannula device.

A surgical machine comprises multiple machine connectors disposed on its face, and a device detection mechanism located close to the machine connectors. The device detection mechanism is configured to read identification data from device information component when positioned within a predetermined range. A control circuit is configured to: identify, based on a device information read from a device information component brought within the range of the device detection mechanism, a matching machine connector from multiple machine connectors, control a light source corresponding to the matching machine connector to illuminate the corresponding illumination ring with the first color, in response to this identifying, and, control the light source corresponding to each of one or more remaining ones of the machine connectors to provide no illumination or to illuminate the corresponding illumination ring with a second color.

Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide the capability to provide more detailed and granular battery function information and control of battery management and monitoring functions. For example, in an embodiment, a battery apparatus may comprise a plurality of power cells, memory attached to each power cell adapted to store information relating to operational parameters of each power cell, and measurement circuitry adapted to measure operational parameters of each power cell and to store information relating to operational parameters of each power cell in each respective attached memory and to measure operational parameters of the battery apparatus and to store information relating to operational parameters of the battery apparatus in a memory, wherein the circuitry adapted to measure operational parameters of each power cell may be further adapted to alter the measurement operation based on usage of the battery apparatus.

A tilt tower and pipe auger anchor assembly comprising a tilt tower having a mast and a swing tube and a coax cable engaging both the mast and the swing tube, the mast has a near end, the near end has a mast flange plate with fastener holes therethrough. A pipe auger anchor has walls defining a generally hollow elongated body having a near end and a removed end, the near end including a pipe auger anchor flange plate mateable with the mast flange plate. The pipe auger anchor flange plate has fastener openings therein and fixedly attached to the near end perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hollow elongated body and an auger at the removed end. The auger provides a penetration force when the body is rotated and the auger is engaged with the ground.

A system and method for medical spatial orientation is disclosed including a robotic arm; an image sensor coupled to the robotic arm; a visualization headset; and a computing subsystem coupled to the robotic arm and the visualization headset. The computing subsystem includes a processor; a non-transitory machine-readable medium communicatively coupled to the processor; and instructions stored on the non-transitory machine-readable medium that, when loaded and executed by the processor, cause the processor to create a first image of a first portion of a surgical field at an image sensor coupled to the robotic arm; detect a movement of a visualization headset indicating a second portion of the surgical field; determine a movement of the robotic arm to position the image sensor at the second portion of the surgical field; move, based on the determination, the robotic arm; and create a second image of the second portion of the surgical field.

Medical spatial orientation system

A poultry loading assembly includes a primary frame and a chute operationally coupled to the primary frame. A primary scissor is operationally coupled between the primary frame and the chute and is actuated to lower or lift the chute. A first conveyor belt is rotatably mounted on the chute and receiving poultry thereon proximate a loading area. A head is operationally coupled to the chute opposite the loading area and is continuously retained in a parallel orientation with the support surface. The head is selectively positionable proximate the container and is selectively movable toward or away from a container. A second conveyor belt is operationally coupled to the head. The first conveyor belt transports the poultry to the second conveyor belt and thereafter the second conveyor belt transports the poultry into the container.
