Systems and methods of capturing imagery are provided. In particular, an imaging platform can be configured to capture imagery using a dual-axis steering mirror and one or more image capture devices. The line of sight angle of the imaging platform can be controlled by controlling the motion of the steering mirror in accordance with a motion profile. In example embodiments, the motion profile can correspond to a sawtooth wave. The imaging platform can further include one or more position sensors used to determine a position and/or orientation of the imaging platform along a path on which the imaging platform travels. The motion of the steering mirror can then be controlled to rotate about a first axis and a second axis to compensate for line of sight errors based at least in part on the determined position and/or orientation.

Controlling a line of sight angle of an imaging platform

A protective device and a method of transmitting an alert from the device, in which the protective device is handheld and includes a flexible sheath disposed between an upper member and a lower member. When the device is compressed, elongated defensive components protrude through openings in the upper member. In some cases, the upper member also includes protruding portions extending upward from the upper member and/or an arm portion extending outward to a side of the device. A signal alert may be automatically transmitted upon device compression.

A method and system for administering pharmaceutical agents to a subject is provided. The system includes a course of treatment regimen, which includes a prescribed order of medicine amounts for periodic administration to the subject in the prescribed order. The amount of medicine includes a dose of at least one active pharmacological agent (APA) and an amount of at least one non-active pharmacological agent (NPA). The NPA provides at least one non-visual sensory cue. The dosage amounts of the APA contained within the amounts of medicine periodically administered in the prescribed order are varied within the course of treatment regimen, and the amount of the NPA contained within the amounts of medicine periodically administered in the prescribed order are held constant within the course of treatment regimen.

A method and device for analyzing a hematologic sample centrifuged within a capillary tube is provided. The sample imaging device is operable to create a digital image of the sample within a region of the tube. A composition and method for preventing or treating an olfactory triggered response within a subject. The method includes applying a thixotropic composition to a nasal cavity, the composition including an aqueous carrier and a viscosity agent, the viscosity agent being in the range of about 2.5% to about 15% by weight within the composition, wherein the composition is configured to change from a semi-solid form to a liquid form upon the composition being subjected to a threshold amount of shear stress, and to return to the semi-solid form upon the elimination of the amount of shear stress.

Method of treating and preventing neuro-olfactory triggered or aggravated illnesses or related conditions

A composition for use in a nasal application, the composition including an aqueous carrier and a viscosity agent. The viscosity agent is in the range of about 4% to about 15% by weight. The viscosity agent is in solution with the aqueous carrier. The solution of the aqueous carrier and the viscosity agent is configured as a thixotropic composition.
