A fluid damper having a damper housing with a first and a second fluid volume, and a damping piston located within the damper and separating the first and second fluid volume. The damper piston has a piston fluid pathway formed therethrough and between the first and second fluid volume. The fluid damper includes a fluid accumulator having an accumulator fluid volume. The fluid damper has a first fluid pathway extending between the first fluid volume and the accumulator fluid volume, and the fluid damper has a second fluid pathway extending between the second fluid volume and the accumulator fluid volume. A flow control valve is located in at least one of the first and the second fluid pathways, and the flow control valve has a non-zero threshold value.

A fluid damper having a damper housing with a first and a second fluid volume, and a damping piston located within the damper and separating the first and second fluid volume. The damper piston has a piston fluid pathway formed therethrough and between the first and second fluid volume. The fluid damper includes a fluid accumulator having a pressurizable gas volume and an accumulator fluid volume isolated from one another by a separation member. The fluid damper has a first fluid pathway extending solely between the first fluid volume and the accumulator fluid volume, and the fluid damper has a second fluid pathway extending solely between the second fluid volume and the accumulator fluid volume. A flow control valve is located in at least one of the first and the second fluid pathways, and the flow control valve has a non-zero threshold value.

A method for topologically optimized component design is disclosed. The method receives at least one application parameter for a component and at least one specification for the component. The at least one application parameter and the at least one specification are utilized to generate a topologically optimized component design from at least one material.

Topologically optimized component design

An IFP is disclosed. The IFP includes a sealing channel formed axially about an outer diameter (OD), the sealing channel including at least two walls where the at least two walls of the sealing channel having a smaller OD than an inner diameter (ID) of a chamber and a channel is formed between the at least two walls. The IFP also includes an anti-tipping feature fixedly coupled with at least a portion of one wall of the sealing channel, the anti-tipping feature increasing a length of the IFP.

A rotary flow control valve that requires no linear motion is disclosed. The rotary flow control valve comprises a drive mechanism and a rotary flow control valve coupled with the drive mechanism, wherein the rotary flow control valve is rotated by the drive mechanism without requiring conversion of a linear motion to a rotational motion.

A dropper seatpost assembly is disclosed. The dropper seatpost assembly includes a lower post comprising a travel adjustment bore and an upper post configured to interactively operate with respect to the lower post. The dropper seatpost assembly also includes a translating assembly configured to maintain one or both of an axial orientation and a rotational orientation of the upper post with respect to the lower post and at least one travel adjustment spacer removably coupled with the travel adjustment bore, the at least one travel adjustment spacer to interact with the translating assembly to reduce a maximum travel distance of the interactive operation of the upper post with respect to the lower post.

A dropper seatpost assembly is disclosed. The dropper seatpost assembly includes a lower post and an upper post configured to telescopically move with respect to the lower post. The dropper seatpost assembly also includes a translating mechanism configured to maintain an orientation such as a lateral orientation, a rotational orientation, or both a lateral orientation and a rotational orientation of the upper post with respect to the lower post as the upper post telescopically moves with respect to the lower post, the translating mechanism comprising two or more vertically offset features.

A crown assembly including at least one crown fluid chamber having a first volume, and a fork side opening for fluidly coupling the at least one crown fluid chamber with at least one fluid spring chamber of a fork leg to provide an additional amount of available fluid volume to the at least one fluid spring chamber.

A bushing bypass. The bushing bypass includes a bushing having a top surface and a bottom surface. The bushing also includes an inner diameter surface extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. The assembly includes an upper post and a lower post having a tubular geometry, the lower post telescopically coupled with the upper post to form a length adjustable seatpost. An actuator located within the length adjustable seatpost, the actuator to allow or restrict a telescopic movement of the length adjustable seatpost. The actuator including an actuator interface configured to couple with a control cable that provides input to the actuator. At least one cutout in a sidewall of the lower post, the at least one cutout to provide access to the actuator interface of the actuator.

A dropper seatpost head assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a lower post for insertion into a seat tube of a vehicle and an upper post having a housing coupled at one end thereof, the upper post to telescopically slide with respect to the lower post to form a dropper seatpost. The assembly also includes a saddle rail clamp assembly having a lower saddle rail clamping portion rotatably coupled with the housing and an upper saddle rail clamping portion to couple with the lower saddle rail clamping portion to form a clamping structure. The lower saddle rail clamping portion having a drooped shape such that the lower saddle rail clamping portion and the clamping structure hang down in a plane that intersects at least a portion of the housing.
