Technologies for displaying public and private images includes a display device and one or more user viewing devices. The display device is configured to display or generate a personalized image or video that is viewable by an authorized user viewing device and not viewable by unauthorized viewing devices. To facilitate the display of the personalized images, the display device and the user viewing device(s) may negotiate a display protocol to be used by the display device to display the personalized image in a private manner. In some embodiment, the display device may also display a public image or video that is viewable by unauthorized viewing devices and/or individuals without viewing devices.

Technologies for informing a remote user of a local user's availability to receive a contact on a communication device are disclosed. The availability of the local user may be determined based on the local user's context information, which may be reported to the remote user in response to a contact status request. The local user's context information provided to the remote user may inform, for example, whether the local user is available to receive a contact, the best way to contact the local user, and/or other context information of the local user. The type and/or level of specificity of the local user's context information reported to the remote user may be determined based on a privacy level, which may be determined based on the local user's context, the identity of the remote user, and/or other criteria. In some embodiments, contact status updates may be provided to the remote user.

Methods and systems to provide location and navigation information to a user within a building. In an embodiment, low power radars may be used to locate and track a user. Moreover, the systems and methods described herein may take advantage of the known layout of a building, or may ascertain the layout using the radar devices. This information may be used to direct a user from a current location to a desired destination. In some contexts, such as stores, radio frequency ID (RFID) tags may be used to identify a particular destination, such as a particular product in a particular aisle in a store. Multiple persons may be tracked as they move about the building, so that the more frequently used paths may be identified for moving from point to point. These identified paths may then be used in constructing a path for a user who needs directions.

System and method for indoor geolocation and mapping

Systems, storage medium, and methods associated with adaptive visual output on a mobile device are disclosed herein. In embodiments, a storage medium may have instructions to enable the mobile device to determine a change in a distance between the mobile device and a user of the mobile device. The host computing device holds or buffers incoming packets to delay delivery while one or more components transition from a low-power power-managed state to an operational power-managed state. The host computing device may hold and release the packets after passage of a reference time. Additionally, the host computing device may hold and release, buffer and inject, or buffer and replay the packets upon receiving notification that one or more components has transitioned from a low-power state to an operational state. The delayed packets may be acknowledged to the remote computing device to reduce or minimize the overall time needed to establish a connection.

A mechanism is described for facilitating dynamic adjustments to features of computing devices according to one embodiment. A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes automatically monitoring usage patterns relating to a user of computing device. The usage patterns may be based on audio user characteristic or visual user characteristics relating to usage of the computing device. The method may further include automatically monitoring environment patterns relating to the usage of the computing device. The environment patterns may be based on surrounding environment having the user and the computing device. The method may further include facilitating dynamic adjustment of one or more features of the computing device based on one or more of the usage patterns, environment patterns, and user preferences.

In accordance with some embodiments, data may be automatically provided on preordained conditions for specific types of data. Thus specific types of data or specific requestors may be treated differently. The system may be programmed to respond appropriately to requests for certain types of data from certain types of requestors. This offloads the need to review specific requests in many cases and enables an automated system for providing requested data as appropriate.
