A process and a nebulizer for dispensing a consecutively dose of medicament in the form of a mist, comprising: an energy source (ES), an air-conditioning volume, an air outlet fluidity connected to the air-containing volume, an air actuator adapted to release a flow of compressed air through the air outlet at such time as a predetermined ES pressure has been reached in the volume and at least two valve means in communication with the air actuator. The compressed air is released at a predetermined pressure of about 20 to about 100 psig. The valve means controls the actuation of the air actuator such that when a medication is nebulized, a mist distribution of a medication is formed having droplets size in the range of approximately 1&#x3bc; to approximately 7&#x3bc; which inhaled by a user at a set of predetermined intervals.

A process and a metered dose inhaler, comprising: an air actuator comprising at least one inlet of liquefied gas (LG), at least one air outlet, at least one first LG-expanding volume and at least one second air-containing volume, the first and second volumes are effectively separated by means of a LG-blocking member; a container with an LG source; said container is in a fluid connection with said LG-expanding volume via the at least one LG inlet; The air actuator is facilitating a metered dose airflow by allowing the expansion of said LG in said at least one LG-expanding volume from its condensed liquid phase to its expanded gas phase. The expansion of said LG facilitates the compression of the air within said at least one air-containing volume, such that a metered dose LG-free air flow is inhalable via at least one air outlet.

Metered dose inhaler and methods thereof

A humidification-dehumidification water purification system and method is disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of evaporator/condenser units and heat exchanger, preferably a solar collector. Contaminated water flows through successive condenser stages to the heat exchanger, and from there through successive evaporator stages. A flow of air is directed through successive evaporator stages in the direction opposite to the flow of water, where it is humidified by water vapor evaporating from the water. The humidified air passes through the successive condenser stages, where it is cooled, thereby condensing pure water and dehumidifying the air. The pure water is extracted from the system, and the dehumidified air can be recirculated through the system. In preferred embodiments of the invention, the evaporator/condenser units are stacked beneath the solar collector, and the system is fully portable and modular and can be either land- or water borne.

Standalone humidification-dehumidification water purification method and system

An applicator for administration of a medicament comprises a container in fluid communication with a dispenser having a plurality of non-deformable structures configured for retaining a predetermined volume of a liquid medicament delivered from the container. The dispenser is capable of delivering at least a part of said predetermined volume of said liquid medicament to a surface upon contact therewith.
