A cosmetic product system is provided which includes a cosmetic composition for combating signs of aging, and a test device packaged with the composition. The device includes a mechanism for evaluating progress of the combat against the signs of aging occurring over a period of time within which the composition is applied to an area of skin being monitored.

Cosmetic product with proof device

A test kit and method for visualizing fine lines and wrinkles is provided, the kit including a transparent strip with an adhesive on one surface thereof and an imaging substrate with at least one darkened glossy area for receiving the transparent strip. Written instructions are provided in the kit. These advise a consumer to place the adhesive surface of the strip against a skin area requiring measurement. Thereafter the strip is removed and placed against the darkened area of the substrate. Topographical features of the skin can be viewed through the transparent strip with the transferred skin image onto the blackened background. A cosmetic anti-aging product can be applied to the skin over a period of time. Beneficial changes caused by the product are visualized through the test strip as periodic measurements are taken.

Wrinkle indicator tape strip

An outer package is provided for strapping together at least two different articles. The package is a unitary cellulosic board forming primary and secondary hollow cavities of unequal volume, the primary cavity having opposite openings on first and second ends, the secondary hollow cavity having opposite left and right ends each coverable by a closure wall when folded into a closed position. A pair of article anchoring apertures are formed in the floor wall to secure any article held within the primary cavity. A blank is also described which when assembled through adhesive securement of head and tail terminal panels forms the outer package.

Dual article package

A dispensing article, particularly for dispensing towelettes, is provided and includes a container body for storing the towelettes and a lid hingedly attached to the body. The container is formed from a floor panel, left and right side panels, front and rear panels and a deck panel. The deck panel includes a sealing section with a dispensing aperture. The sealing section is domed outwardly away from the floor. A downwardly projecting plug on an interior surface of the lid, in a closed position, engages within the dispensing aperture forming a seal therewith. The domed nature of the sealing section improves the air tight closure and shortens the required length of the plug to minimize aesthetically displeasing sink marks in the plastic wall of the plug.

Refillable towelette dispensing article

A collapsible carton for shipping, storage and display of individually wrapped smaller packages is provided which includes opposing front and rear panels, a floor and a pair of opposing side panels. The front, rear and side panels have walls of identical height as measured from the floor up to an upper edge of each of the panels. Together they form a receiving cavity with the edges defining an open mouth. Each side panel includes a tear-away section shaped preferably as a right triangle, one edge of the tear-away section being coincident with the upper edge of the respective side panel and a diagonal edge in perforated attachment running transverse across the side panel. The front panel also includes a tear-away section having one edge coincident with the upper edge of the front panel and an opposed edge in perforated attachment. Cartons of this invention are particularly suited for individually wrapped personal care products such as towelettes which are elongate and cannot easily be stood by themselves on a market shelf.

Display carton

A sleeve is provided which in assembled form slides over an openable carton with a protuberance to maintain the carton in its closed position. The sleeve may be assembled prior to production and stored flat or in a roll to minimize storage space and save production costs.

Collapsible carton sleeve

A towelette product is provided which includes a stack of flexible towelettes, a refill package for storing the towelettes and a cover housing surrounding the refill package. The refill package has deck and floor walls in parallel relationship to one another. An aperture in the deck allows access and egress of individual towelettes and is circumscribed by a rigid mouth with a coupling structure. The cover housing is formed with a roof on an upper surface and an open mouth along a lower edge. A dispensing port of the roof is defined by a rigid engagement wall directed downward toward the open mouth and engageable with the coupling structure of the rigid mouth in a sealable relationship to prevent moisture from transferring therebetween. Only a single seal is necessary to both join together refill and cover housing and serve as a towelette dispensing orifice.

Refillable towelette dispensing package

A packaged skin product is provided which includes at least one regular or irregular polygonal shaped patch for adhesive application to the skin. An outer carton formed of a series of walls functions as a receptacle for storing the patches. A front wall of the outer carton includes a window of a size and shape identical to one of the patches. A plurality of these patches adhere to a single backing sheet which is enclosed within a sealed laminated pouch. The window serves to inform a potential customer as to the size and visual nature of the enclosed patches.
