The invention provides DNA compositions that relate to transgenic insect resistant maize plants. Also provided are assays for detecting the presence of the maize TC1507 event based on the DNA sequence of the recombinant construct inserted into the maize genome and the DNA sequences flanking the insertion site. Kits and conditions useful in conducting the assays are provided.

Corn event TC1507 and methods for detection thereof

The invention provides DNA compositions that relate to transgenic insect resistant maize plants. Also provided are assays for detecting the presence of the maize TC1507 event based on the DNA sequence of the recombinant construct inserted into the maize genome and the DNA sequence flanking the insertion site. Kits and conditions useful in conducting the assays are provided.

According to the invention, there is provided a hybrid maize plant, designated as 32G80, produced by crossing two Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize lines. This invention relates to the hybrid seed 32G80, the hybrid plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and trivial modifications of hybrid 32G80. This invention also relates to methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic maize plants produced by that method. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize lines derived from hybrid maize line 32G80 and to the maize lines derived by the use of those methods.

An inbred maize line, designated PH02T, the plants and seeds of inbred maize line PH02T, methods for producing a maize plant produced by crossing the inbred line PH02T with itself or with another maize plant, and hybrid maize seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred line PH02T with another maize line or plant.

An inbred maize line, designated PH40B, the plants and seeds of inbred maize line PH40B, methods for producing a maize plant produced by crossing the inbred line PH40B with itself or with another maize plant, and hybrid maize seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred line PH40B with another maize line or plant.

According to the invention, there is provided a hybrid maize plant, designated as 3310, produced by crossing two Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize lines. This invention relates to the hybrid seed 3310, the hybrid plant produced from the seed, and variants, routants, and trivial modifications of hybrid 3310.

According to the invention, there is provided an inbred corn line, designated PHP38. This invention thus relates to the plants and seeds of inbred corn line PHP38 and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing the inbred line PHP38 with itself or with another corn plant. This invention further relates to hybrid corn seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred line PHP38 with another corn line or plant and to crosses with related species.

According to the invention, there is provided a hybrid corn plant, designated as 3279, produced by crossing two Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred corn lines. This invention thus relates to the hybrid seed 3279, the hybrid plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and trivial modifications of hybrid 3279. This hybrid is characterized by having excellent stress tolerance with high dependable yield. 3279 has good grain appearance and test weight with very good roots and adequate stalks. It is widely adapted across the Central Corn Belt.
