An air filter unit for an air intake of an air handling or HVAC system includes a grate configured to support a plurality of spaced apart filters at a top side thereof, whereby air is drawn through the grate and then sequentially through the filters into the air intake. The air filter unit may include a filter indicator which provides a visual indication of the air filters, such as based upon the pressure differential on either side of the air filters.

Method and system for replacing an air filter

An air intake of an air handling or HVAC system, such as located in a ceiling of a structure, includes a movable filter housing. The filter housing comprises a grate configured to support one or more air filters at a top side thereof. The filter housing is mounted via one or more extendable connectors and includes a control tool mount. Connection of a control tool to the filter housing allows a user to pull the filter housing downwardly to a lowered position for replacing the air filter(s). The filter housing may be biased upwardly to its use position and may include a latch or lock to secure it in the use position.

A work station includes tool containing or supporting features as well as workbench features, such as a work surface and work back. The work station is preferably mobile, permitting it to be moved or transported. In addition, the work station is preferably collapsible and securable. A gaming system includes multiple gaming machines and one or more cashier stations. The gaming machines are configured to issue value tickets, such upon cash-out. The tickets may be presented at the same gaming machine that issued the ticket or at other of the gaming machines or the cashier station. In particular, each gaming machine generates its own tickets, including associated ticket records. The ticket records generated at each gaming machine, however, are transmitted to other gaming machines and the cashier stations so that when a ticket is presented at any of the gaming machines or cashier stations, any of the gaming machines can directly validate the ticket and credit the associated value.

A gaming machine cabinet or housing is constructed from a plurality of connected components. In one embodiment, the cabinet is assembled from base, side, top, back and door components or sections. The housing may have a basis configuration constructed from a base, sides, top, back and a first door. The housing may have a plurality of modified configurations constructed from various of the basic configuration components, such as the base, sides and back, and an extension and modified door. In accordance with the invention, the gaming machine housing may be manufactured in one location and then conveniently shipped in unassembled form to another location for assembly and use. The gaming machine housing may also be constructed in a variety of configurations utilizing a small number of components.

An article of furniture, such as a night stand, is configured with firearm access features. A drawer of the article of furniture may include a mount for holding a firearm in the drawer. The mount may be configured to move a firearm from a horizontal storage position to a vertical position when the drawer is opened. The drawer may include a firearm locator feature comprising an arm-locating cut-out in a side of the drawer. The drawer may also include an access feature for selectively maintaining the drawer in a closed position and ejecting the drawer to an extended position, such as upon release of a catch which permits a spring to bias the drawer outwardly. The access features secure the firearm and at the same time permit expedited access to the firearm, including in the dark.

A gaming machine door latch comprises a slide having one or more associated catches, and lock or latch strikes. The slide may be mounted to the gaming machine housing for vertical movement. The catches are mounted to the slide and may be configured to pivot. The strikes are mounted to the door. When the gaming machine door is closed, the catches automatically engage the strikes, thus latching the door. The door may be opened by raising the slide, causing the catches to move out of engagement with the strikes. The latch may include a lock which locks and unlocks the slide.
