A manually operated internally fed paint brush having a resilient handle forming a refillable paint reservoir and a brush head with a fluid delivery path connecting the reservoir to the brush head via a siphon tube having an inlet positioned at a lowermost region of the reservoir when the paint brush is generally horizontal. A combined valve and O-ring seals an outlet of the siphon tube and selectively opens in response to compression of the reservoir. A latching mechanism retains the brush head to the handle. A trough having a spout is provided for filling the paint brush.

An electronic camera for capturing an image of an object from both hand-held and stationary positions comprises an imaging module containing an image sensor for capturing the image, a camera body capable of serving as a stand for the camera, an elongated arm for supporting the imaging module at one end and terminating at the other end in a connecting member for connecting with the camera body, and means for pivotally attaching the connecting member to the camera body such that the elongated arm and the imaging module may be seated against the camera in a first position for hand-held imaging and swung away from the camera through an arcuate path relative to the camera body, which serves as a stand, to a second position for stationary imaging. In a further variation, the imaging module is attached to the elongated arm with a flexible support that provides a wide range of imaging module adjustments. Since the camera body nests the articulating arm in one position and supports the arm like a stand in another position, the camera provides a package that can be conveniently hand held for still imaging or firmly parked on a desktop for videoconferencing.

An electrically operated slicing knife includes an axially movable switch guard overlying the switch of the knife. The switch guard is movable to a first position whereat the switch is uncovered and a second position whereat the switch is covered to prevent a user from actuating the switch. A pair of user actuated buttons control ejection of the blade of the knife. When the buttons are in a first position, the blade is locked relative to the knife handle, and the switch guard when positioned to uncover the knife switch maintains the buttons in their locked position. When the switch guard is moved to cover the switch, the buttons can be actuated by a user to unlock the blades from the knife handle.
