Collection, processing, and output of flight information method, system, and apparatus

Wireless presence is used as a theft prevention mechanism for packages. When a package is shipped, the package includes a wireless security device. Before the package is delivered to its final destination shipping address, the wireless security device is activated and programmed with a security credential. The security credential, though, is based on information obtained during an initial purchase. The wireless security device may thus only be deactivated by a recipient participating in the initial purchase.

Dynamic shielding of cellular signals for an antenna of an unmanned aerial vehicle is disclosed. An example method may include receiving a navigation route for an unmanned aerial vehicle to execute during flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle and determining an orientation of a radio signal shield for an antenna of the unmanned aerial vehicle using ground level signal propagation information of radio signals for a network and the navigation route, wherein the radio signal shield prevents the radio signals from being received by the antenna from directions based on the orientation. The method may further include adjusting the radio signal shield using the orientation and communicating with a cellular base station of the network using the antenna.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include obtaining a first media content item comprising a plurality of content segments. For each content segment of the plurality of content segments of the first media content item, comparing the content segment and a prior content segment to identify a content transition, analyzing the content segment to identify a content marker in the content segment, determining a viewing characteristic of the content segment according to the content transition and the content marker, determining if the content segment is unnecessary according to the viewing characteristic, and updating a set of skipping instructions associated with the first media content item responsive to the determining the content segment is unnecessary, and presenting the first media content item at a first device according to the set of skipping instructions associated with the first media content item. Method and apparatus for smart video skipping

Example methods and systems are disclosed to facilitate detection and identification of devices connected to a cellular network and that are causing interference to the cellular network. An example method may include receiving, by a serving base station of the device, a first set of information associated with data communications of a device utilizing a cellular network. The method may further include determining the device is an interfering device based on the first set of information associated with the data communication substantially corresponding with an interfering device profile, and in response tracking the device. During the tracking of the device, a second set of information associated with the data communications from the device may be obtained, and an interfering device type of the device may be determined based on the second set of information. An action may be performed on the interfering device based on its interfering device type.

A method includes determining, at a media device, a rating associated with an advertisement. The method also includes receiving, at the media device, information from one or more sensors, where the information indicates that a viewer (e.g., a child) is located within an area associated with the media device. The method includes determining whether the advertisement includes age-inappropriate content for the viewer based on the rating and based on the information. When the advertisement includes age-inappropriate content for the viewer, the method includes inhibiting display of the advertisement.

Personalization of a rental property is automatically performed based on presence or detection of a wireless device. A unique identifier of a wireless cellular device, for example, may be associated to a personalization profile. When the wireless cellular device is detected by a network serving the rental property, the personalization profile may be retrieved. Devices in the rental property may thus be personalized with music, movies, and other information in the personalization profile. Hotel rooms and rental cars may thus be personalized to a user of the wireless cellular device.

For example, a processor deployed in a telecommunication network may detect traffic between a third-party device and an endpoint device, associate the traffic with an application of a plurality of applications running on the endpoint device, determine, based upon a volume of the traffic, that a per-application data usage limitation for the application is exceeded, and halt forwarding of the traffic when the per-application data usage limitation for the application is exceeded.

Methods, computer-readable media and devices for presenting a personalized content to a viewer at a display are disclosed. For example, a method receives location information of a device of an individual, compares the location information to a location of the display and determines that the individual is the viewer when the location information indicates that the device of the individual is proximate to the display. The method then presents the personalized content to the viewer on the display when it is determined that the individual is the viewer.
