A cable connector assembly () in accordance with the present invention includes a printed circuit board () having a number of signal and ground pads () alternatively arranged at opposite front and rear ends () thereof, a conductive wire organizer () including a body portion () defining a number of through holes () and a number of ground plates () integrally extending forwardly from the body portion to electrically connecting with the ground pads of the printed circuit board, and a number of wires () protruding through the through holes of the wire organizer. Each wire includes at least one signal conductor () soldered with the signal pad of the printed circuit board, an insulator () enclosing the at least one signal conductor and a conductor layer () enclosing the insulator and electrically connecting with the wire organizer.

A cable connector assembly () includes a printed circuit board () having a number of signal and ground pads () alternatively arranged at opposite front and rear ends thereof, a wire organizer () defining a number of through holes (), a unitary grounding member () assembled to the wire organizer and including a number of grounding plates () integrally formed therewith to electrically connect with the ground pads of the printed circuit board, and a number of wires () protruding through the through holes of the wire organizer. Each wire includes at least one signal conductor () soldered with the signal pad of the printed circuit board, an insulator () enclosing the at least one signal conductor and a ground conductor () electrically connecting with the grounding member to form ground path with the printed circuit board.

A twisted-pair cable includes a plurality of twisted pairs of conductors closely side by side arranged one another. The pair of conductors are twisted with some degrees axially offset relative to the adjacent twisted pair of conductors, whereby for each victim conductor, the induced signals can be eliminated within each twisted cycle, so that the crosstalk at the far end of the cable can be reduced.

Twist pattern to improve electrical performances of twisted-pair cable

A connector fixing device and a connector including the fixing device are disclosed. The fixing device is formed by stamping a metal plate to have a base, a pair of fixing legs extending downward from the base for engaging with a mother board, and two fitting wings extending upward from two sides of the base and cooperating therewith to define a middle depression in an upper part of the fixing device. The two fitting wings interferentially fit into two grooves defined by two projection portions of a housing of the connector. The two projection portions are located at a bottom part of the housing beside a space defined by the housing which receives a foot portion of a card ejector. The card ejector is pivotably connected to the housing for ejecting an inserted electrical card. The middle depression of the fixing device is defined below the space receiving the foot portion of the card ejector.
