In some aspects, the present disclosure pertains to a multi-arm polymer comprising a core and a plurality of polyoxazoline segments (or arms) having a first end that is covalently attached to the core and a second end comprising a moiety that comprises a reactive group. Aspects herein relate to biocompatible polyisobutylene-fiber composite materials and related methods. In one aspect a biocompatible composite material is included. The biocompatible composite material can include a network of fibers comprising one or more polymers to form a substrate and a continuous polyisobutylene matrix that is non-porous and completely surrounds the electrospun fibers. Biocompatible polyisobutylene-fiber composite materials and methods

Methods of treating a substrate, e.g., forming a coating on the substrate, are described. The method may include applying a solution comprising a multifunctional molecule or a multifunctional-polymer molecule to at least a portion of a surface of the substrate. The surface may comprise a metal or metal alloy and the multifunctional molecule or a multifunctional-polymer molecule may bond to the surface via at least one sulfur group of a plurality of sulfur groups of the multifunctional molecule. The method may include combining the multifunctional molecule with a polymer molecule to form the multifunctional polymer molecule before or after applying the solution. The polymer molecule may bond to an internal carbon group or a terminal sulfur group of the multifunctional molecule.

Coating compositions and related devices and methods

Described herein are injectable in vivo crosslinking materials for use as soft tissue filler comprising (a) a reactive multi-arm polymer that comprises a plurality of hydrophilic polymeric arms, at least a portion of the hydrophilic polymeric arms comprising one or more reactive end groups and (b) a multifunctional compound that comprises functional groups that are reactive with the reactive end groups of the reactive multi-arm polymer. Also described herein are systems and methods that are based on such materials.

A polymeric material includes a polyisobutylene-polyurethane block copolymer. The polyisobutylene-polyurethane block copolymer includes soft segments, hard segments, and end groups. The soft segments include a polyisobutylene diol residue. The hard segments include a diisocyanate residue. The end groups are bonded by urea bonds to a portion of the diisocyanate residue. The end groups include a residue of a mono-functional amine.

The polymer substrate includes a surface portion extending into the polymer substrate from a surface of the substrate. The at least one nanofiber includes a first portion and a second portion.
