Among other things, a method includes, at a computer system on which one or more computer programs are executing, receiving a specification defining types of state information, receiving an indication that an event associated with at least one of the computer programs has occurred, the event associated with execution of a function of the computer program, collecting state information describing the state of the execution of the computer program when the event occurred, generating an entry corresponding to the event, the entry including elements of the collected state information, the elements of state information formatted according to the specification, and storing the entry. The log can be parsed to generate a visualization of computer program execution.

A system and method are provided for secure encryption via use of at least two different communication channels, such as the internet and a Short Message Service (SMS) channel, to transmit an authentication request and/or encryption information between at least one user device that is associated with a common user and a network entity. In this regard, an authentication request and/or the encryption information generated in response to an authentication request is separated into at least two portions and transmitted via different communication channels. Even if a third party accesses one of the communication channels and receives a portion of the authentication request and/or the resulting encryption information, the system and method effectively prevent the third party from receiving information sufficient to enable the third party to successfully interpret future communications between the parties since other portion(s) of the authentication request and/or the encryption information is transmitted via other channel(s).

System and method for secure communications between at least one user device and a network entity

An apparatus and system for communicating an emergency and an associated method are provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus is a mobile terminal including an input mechanism that is capable of receiving user input indicative of an emergency, and a wireless transmitter capable of transmitting an emergency message. The mobile terminal further includes a recording device capable of recording at least one of audio and imagery information indicative of the emergency, and a memory capable of storing the audio and imagery information. The audio and imagery information are also capable of being transmitted by the wireless transmitter.
