An electronic device holder includes a mounting surface configured to receive and retain an electronic device. First and second doors are disposed on opposite sides of the mounting surface and are gearingly engaged to one another on a rear side of the mounting surface for synchronized lateral movement between open and closed positions. An actuator is disposed on either the first or second door for actuating the doors to the open position from the closed position. A detent lever is pivotally coupled to either the first or second door and is configured to detent the doors in the open position. A detent release lever is pivotally coupled to the mounting surface, and is configured to release the detent lever such that the doors automatically move from the open position to the closed position.

Electronic device holder for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seating assembly includes a seating frame. A plurality of cellular supports include multiple base cells and multiple support cells. The multiple support cells are disposed directly above and include a different air pressure than the base cells. A diaphragm is proximate the base cells and the support cells. An air passage is defined through the diaphragm between adjacent cellular supports. An open air distribution layer extends over the cellular supports. A breathable coverstock extends over the distribution layer.

A vehicle seat includes a cushion having a compressible edge bladder and a compressible inflation bladder positioned aft of the edge bladder. An inflation line fluidically connects the edge bladder and the inflation bladder, and a check valve therein is openable toward the edge bladder under a fluid pressure from the inflation bladder. A deflation line with a dump valve therein further fluidically connects the edge bladder and the inflation bladder.

A vehicle seat includes a sealed inflation system having first and second inflation bladders interconnected by first and second supply lines for exchanging an inflation medium therebetween. Each inflation bladder includes one or more outwardly extending pilot stems. A first valve assembly is operably coupled to the pilot stems and first the supply line. Compression of the second inflation bladder opens the first valve assembly, and compression of the first inflation bladder closes the first valve assembly. A second valve assembly is disposed on the second supply and is configured to open and close as a seatback of the vehicle seat moves from a folded position to an upright position. The first and second valve assemblies are external components to the sealed inflation system.

A door assembly for a vehicle interior opening includes a track extending in an imperfect arc and a door supported by the track and slidable therealong through the imperfect arc. The door comprises a single piece, flexible body, having a plurality of crests defining generally planar surfaces extending parallel to each other in a lateral direction. The crests are joined together by respective ones of a plurality of troughs coupled therebetween.

A liquid-filled sender panel is disposed between the air-filled receiver cell and the rigid shell. A liquid-filled receiver cell is adjacent the air-filled receiver cell and disposed in one of the seat side bolster and the seatback side bolster. A first distribution rail system is disposed on a first side of the seat base. A second distribution rail system is disposed on a second side of the seat base. A plurality of capillaries provide fluid communication between the sender panels and the receiver cells. A topper pad extends over the conformal seating assembly.

The support layer includes a plurality of sealed support cells and defines a plurality of attachment points. The support cells have a first air pressure and a comfort layer positioned over the support layer. The comfort layer includes a plurality of sealed comfort cells having a second air pressure. The support layer, comfort layer, and cover stock are secured to the seat frame via the attachment points.

The air chambers further comprise a primary chamber in fluid communication with a main chamber, and a secondary chamber in fluid communication with a supplemental chamber, wherein air is displaced from the main chamber to the primary chamber and air is displaced from the secondary chamber to the supplemental chamber when the lower seat is in a loaded condition. A vehicle seating assembly includes a seatback. A head restraint is operably coupled with the seatback by first and second support posts. The head restraint is operable between a stowed position and a use position. A lower brace is operably coupled with a lower portion of the head restraint. An upper brace is operably coupled with an upper portion of the head restraint. A latching mechanism is coupled with the seatback and operably coupled with the upper brace and the lower brace. The latching mechanism is operable between a first position corresponding to the stowed position of the head restraint, and a second position corresponding to the use position of the head restraint.

An electronic device holder includes a mounting surface configured to receive an electronic device. A door is operably coupled to the mounting surface and is moveable between open and closed positions relative to the mounting surface. An electrical connector is slideably coupled to the mounting surface, wherein the electrical connector moves to an extended position as the door moves to the open position due to an abutting relationship with the door. The electrical connector is configured to remain in the extended position as the door moves from the open position to the closed position. The electrical connector is configured to be moved manually to an electrically connected position with the electronic device after the door has been moved to the closed position. When connected, the electrical connector is configured to power the electronic device.

A mounting system includes a vehicle seat having a seatback frame with a forwardly rolled support flange. The forwardly rolled support flange defines a cavity and is disposed on an upper portion of the seatback frame. A support member is received on the support flange and has a generally inverted U-shaped body portion and a loop portion. In assembly, the support member rolls on to the support flange to define a landing for mounting an accessory to the upper portion of the seatback frame.

A vehicle seat includes a seatback having an opening defined along a portion thereof. A track is coupled with the seatback adjacent the opening and extends in an imperfect arc. A door comprising a single piece, flexible body is supported by the track and is slidable between an open position and a closed position relative to the opening. The door is moveable through the imperfect arc by flexing of the body.

A vehicle headrest assembly includes a headrest member operably coupled to a seatback. The headrest member is moveable between upright and folded positions relative to the seatback. A support assembly includes first and second linkages which are pivotally coupled to the headrest member and the seatback at opposite ends thereof. First and second latch brackets are coupled to the first and second linkages respectively and operable between latched and unlatched positions for moving the headrest member to the folded position from the upright position when the latch brackets are in the unlatched position.
