The invention describes an aerosol generator for inhalation therapy devices, in which an oscillatable assembly, consisting of at least a membrane and an oscillation generator, is mounted in an encapsulating means such that at least the membrane is exposed for the supply of liquid and the generation of an aerosol, whereas the remaining parts of the oscillatable assembly are protected. Mounting occurs by means of a flexible passage such that the oscillatory motions of the oscillatable assembly are not negatively affected.

The invention relates to a chamber, in particular a pump chamber, comprising a plate-shaped first half () and a plate-shaped second half (). The first and second halves are connected to one another by a closed connecting seam () in a surface-to-surface relation, and at least one half has at least one aperture () lying within the connecting seam. Furthermore, at least the second half is thermally deformed within the closed connecting seam in such a manner that it is formed to bulge relative to the connecting surface with the first half such that a hollow space () is formed between the first and second halves. The invention relates to an inhalation therapy device including a membrane aerosol generator. A detection device is provided for determining whether a liquid to be atomized is available. In the absence of liquid, the activation of the membrane aerosol generator is interrupted and/or a signal is output.

The apparatus has a processing chamber in which a workpiece is processed with a processing tool. Additionally an introducing device is provided as part of the processing chamber wall, being disposed such that a closed space is formed at least during processing of the workpiece in the processing chamber. The invention relates to an identification document, such as a passport or the like, which consists of a plurality of sheets bound into a book at a seam. At least one of the sheets forms a data sheet provided with information and consisting at least of two layers, at least one of the layers being transparent. The format of the layers is selected so that they protrude beyond the area of the seam thereby ensuring a connection of the data sheet with the other sheets of the identification document in the area of the seam. The layers are connected into an inseparable laminate in the area of the information but do not stick together in the area of the seam.

A multilayer identity card exhibits an outer color layer of a first color and an inner color layer of a second color to allow for identity cards and the like to be written on in several colors. While the outer color layer absorbs virtually no laser beam light used for writing, the second, inner color layers absorbs the laser light. This causes the material of the second color layer to be thermally broken down during the writing operation, i.e. vaporized, sublimated, exposed to a chemical or physical reaction, so that the formation of pressure and resulting eruption blasts the first layer into particles. This makes the second color layer visible. Instead of the second color layer one can also provide a transparent layer of varnish having suitable properties in order to expose a multicolor security print, for example, below this transparent layer of varnish.
