A system for facilitating live pari-mutuel betting between multiple individuals betting on the outcome of historical events. Player prizes may be awarded based on how closely each player comes to matching the actual results of the participants of the events. The system may provide multiple different bets for players to wager on. Each bet may include a collection of multiple events, and a deadline for determining the outcome of the wagers placed by all players. Higher payouts may be offered for players who more closely match the actual outcomes of the events. The system optionally includes different configurations of software and hardware providing a variety of different configurations for facilitating the disclosed process.

System and method for live pari-mutuel wagering on multiple past events

A system for electronic gaming is described which includes a plurality of individual game stations each of which is constructed and arranged with a user interface. Upstream from each game station is a third party subsystem which includes a corresponding database. This third party subsystem is in data communication with each game station. Also upstream from the plurality of game stations is a gaming server subsystem which includes a database. A central determinate translator system is constructed and arranged in communication either directly or indirectly with each game station and provides a communication link and interface between the gaming server subsystem and each game station.

The player controls include a separate player control touch screen mounted on a deck projecting forwardly at the front side of the gaming machine cabinet, and facing upwardly to present reconfigurable player touch controls for the gaming machine. These controls may be reconfigured within a game or to change the game presentations on the machine in response to player commands or gaming network conditions.

A system, apparatus, and method are disclosed that include generating a set of primary game outcomes with each primary game outcome being associated with a result in a primary game. A set of progressive prize bearing outcomes are associated with the set of first game outcomes according to a progressive win frequency rule. Each progressive prize bearing record is associated with a progressive win indicator and a progressive prize. A primary game outcome is determined in response to a game play request by a player. If the primary game outcome is associated with a winning result, the player is provided a corresponding award; independent of the primary game result, if the primary game outcome is associated with one of the progressive prize bearing records, the player is awarded a corresponding progressive prize.

A gaming machine includes a cabinet having a main video display mounted on a front side of the cabinet. The gaming machine also includes at least one more additional video display mounted on the front side of the cabinet either above or below the game video display. The player controls include a separate player control touch screen mounted on a ledge projecting forwardly from the front side of the gaming machine cabinet, and facing upward to present reconfigurable player touch controls for the gaming machine. Dynamically configurable gaming system

A method for conducting bingo games includes using a server to collect game play requests from a plurality of electronic player stations. The server determines if a group of the collected game play requests meets one or more predefined conditions for establishing a quorum, and if so conducts a game with the group of game play requests. Even after the game is started, the server continues to collect game play requests in preparation for conducting additional games. When enough game play requests are collected, the server starts the next game, even if previous games are still in progress.

Method, system, and program product for conducting multiple concurrent bingo games

Methods, apparatus, and program products are disclosed for providing distributed RNG calculation capability. Generally, gaming machines cooperate on a gaming network to calculate a result for a RNG algorithm. A preferred system uses peer machines to perform partial RNG calculations, but cooperating server machines may also be used. One method calculates a first partial RNG calculation at a first machine using a seed value. The first machine transmits results of the first partial calculation to a second machine, which completes the RNG calculation. Some algorithms may include a step of combining partial results from two or more gaming machines. A preferred system uses a RNG state tracker and a seed tracker operating on a RNG master machine. This machine initializes a partial RNG with a seed value, and then tracks the state of the partial RNG using results from the completed calculation obtained over the network.
