The present disclosure relates to recycling automotive phosphate rinse water. An apparatus and method is disclosed for treating process water containing phosphate. The apparatus may include a process water line. The process water line may be in fluid communication with a sample process water line. The sample process water line may be in fluid communication with a dilution line. The sample process water line, the dilution line, and a phosphate analyzer may be in fluid communication with a diluted process water line. The apparatus may also include a chemical additive feed line in fluid communication with the process water line downstream from the sample process water line.

The invention provides methods and compositions for a composition and/or a method for treating impurities in a circulating water system. The circulating water system impurities may be oversprayed paint in paint spray booth applications. The composition includes an aqueous solution of a cationized starch, a polybasic aluminum salt such as aluminum chlorohydrate or polyaluminum chloride and a solution of a medium to high MW aqueous flocculant. The composition is particularly useful when added to recirculating scrubber water in paint spray booths for effectively treating both water based and solvent based paints.

The present disclosure relates to purge fluids, methods of using the purge fluids, and systems to be used for recycling the purge fluids. In some aspects, the purge fluid may be used to clean or purge an automated spray coating apparatus, such as a paint gun. The purge fluid may include a solvent and water. After the purge fluid is utilized for purging or cleaning certain system components, the purge fluid may be treated, subjected to a liquid-solid separation technique, and reused as a purge fluid.

A method for preparing this fertilizer is provided including the steps of providing a raw agricultural waste to be treated, adding to the raw agricultural waste an effective amount of a composition comprising a quaternized amino methylated polyacrylamide polymer for separating the raw agricultural waste into a mixture having a separate clarified liquid portion and a separate dewatered nutrient solids portion, wherein the separated dewatered nutrient solids portion is a fertilizer, mixing the composition with the raw agricultural waste to facilitate the separation of the raw agricultural waste into the mixture, and subjecting the mixture to at least one mechanical separation means for segregating the separated clarified liquid portion from the fertilizer. An aqueous system comprising water, raw agricultural waste and a composition comprising a quaternized amino methylated polyacrylamide polymer is also disclosed.

Fertilizer and method for preparing the same

A method for separating raw agricultural waste into a liquid portion and a nutrient enriched solids portion is disclosed. This method includes providing raw agricultural waste to be treated, adding to the raw agricultural waste an effective amount of a composition comprising a quaternized amino methylated polyacrylamide polymer for separating the raw agricultural waste into a mixture having a liquid portion and a nutrient solids portion, mixing the composition with the raw agricultural waste to facilitate the separation, and subjecting the mixture to at least one mechanical separation means for segregating the separated liquid portion from the separated nutrient solids portion. A method for transforming raw agricultural waste into a clarified liquid portion and a dewatered nutrient enriched solids portion is also provided.
