The present disclosure relates to a rotary plug valve and, more particularly, to a rotary plug valve having a fluid conduit cartridge including components that are assembled in a manner allowing for the rotation of a valve handle without rotation of the entire valve or supply line. Illustratively, a retainer ring and a backer ring are coupled with a gripper ring positioned therebetween. Coupling of the retainer ring and the backer ring creates compression on locking tabs of the grip ring, holding the locking tabs in place between tangs of the backer ring and preventing rotation of the gripper ring.

Rotation-resistant push-on conduit coupling cartridge

An illustrative dual outlet, single inlet, and single handle valve assembly is disclosed that allows a user to manipulate the handle to selectively allow or inhibit fluid flow from the single inlet to multiple fluid delivery devices. The valve assembly includes an indexing device to permit the user to choose between a variety of configurations that directs flow to a single fluid delivery device, multiple fluid delivery devices, or no fluid delivery devices.

A plug valve assembly includes a valve carried in a valve body and including a spindle coupled to a plug. The spindle may have an appendage coupled to a sidewall of the plug, and circumferentially extending about a rotational axis less than 180 angular degrees, such that the spindle appendage is registrable with a valve body outlet to selectively reinforce the plug sidewall and thereby resist blowout of the plug sidewall into or through the valve body outlet. The spindle may be composed of nylon and the plug may be composed of liquid silicone rubber.

The present disclosure includes an openable drain strainer with a central longitudinal axis. An openable basket includes a frame having a sidewall extending circumferentially around the axis, and a bottom movable with respect to the frame from a closed position to an open position to open the basket and facilitate removal of debris.

An apparatus for minimizing rotation of a conduit has a housing that has a keyway and envelops the conduit. A gripper holds the conduit and opposes rotation of it. The gripper has a key for cooperating with the keyway such that the housing does not rotate about the gripper.

An apparatus for assembling or disassembling a pipe in a pipe holder, includes: a washer having a body having an annular portion and an extended portion having central bore passing therethrough, the body made of a memory material; a compression fitting for insertion into the pipe holder, the extended portion fitting in the compression fitting; and, a lock for insertion into the pipe holder. The lock is for moving the compression fitting to deform the annular portion against the holder if inserted to form a seal between the pipe, the compression fitting and the holder. The lock also is for allowing the annular portion to reform and move against the holder if the lock is removed such that the compression fitting may be removed if the lock is removed.

A sink drain pedestal strainer with a central longitudinal axis includes a pedestal extending upwardly away from a base. The pedestal includes a perforate sidewall to facilitate flow of water toward the inner periphery of the base, and a perforate upper wall extending radially inwardly from the sidewall.

An apparatus for connecting a conduit has a body attaching to the conduit, a seal having a shape extending around and minimizing leakage from the conduit, and a activator for enabling the seal so that the seal minimizes leakage from the conduit if the conduit is properly inserted in the body.

An assembly for limiting excess flow includes a seat that provides a sealing surface and a diaphragm that is coupled to the seat. The diaphragm includes a seal portion and at least one leg extending between the seal portion and the seat. The seal portion is spaced apart from the sealing surface during normal flow conditions and is in engagement with the sealing surface when a predetermined flow condition is exceeded.

An apparatus for unsealing a pipe in a pipe assembly is disclosed. The apparatus has a seal for minimizing leakage from the pipe and a spring attaching to both the seal and the pipe assembly. If the seal is to be removed, a spring force of the spring acts against and moves the seal for removal of the seal.
