The present invention relates to a shirt which has a lower adjustable sleeve segment that is capable of being removably attached to an upper fixed segment. The shirt includes first and second indexing mechanisms which, when aligned, provide desired circumferential orientation of the lower section with respect to the upper section. The indexing mechanism may embody patches affixed to the upper and lower segments. The indexing mechanism may also be incorporated into the attachment mechanisms, such as distinctly colored buttons or distinctly colored thread which secure the buttons or form the button holes.

A table, wall, ceiling or desk lamp is provided with a translucent plastic shade having a top reflector at its upper end and bonded at its lower end to the outer periphery of a prismatic diffuser whereby the shade, top reflector and diffuser may be removed as a unit.

An elongated tubular element is bent to form an upwardly extending vertical portion, a downwardly extending vertical portion and a horizontal portion joining the two vertical portions and functioning as a support element. A lamp fixture is mounted adjacent the top of the upwardly extending vertical portion and a counterweight is mounted adjacent the lower end of the downwardly extending vertical portion. The counterweight causes the center of gravity of the lamp to be below the horizontal portion of the tubular element so that when the horizontal portion is resting on a support surface, the lamp is balanced in a substantially upright position.
